#BallondOr
The journey never been easy for benzema. Never gave up. It’s worth it. Congratulations Karim Benzema. Hala Madrid.
Benzema has actually endured so much disrespect in previous seasons, so happy he’s finally getting the credit he deserves.
A player who knew how to wait his time, with courage, with humility.
A class football, leading role, of the highest level.
His achievement is well deserved.
This is my best Ballon d’or ceremony, it’s not just some classic standing ovation.. there was something different, like everyone was genuinely happy for him … a family spirit. The unity and love for the sport, and for the player Karim …it signifies “believe, your turn will be the best.”

Bruno Fernandes Begs to Be Subbed Off during Liverpool’s 7-0 Win over United

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes appeared to be requesting to be taken off following Liverpool’s 5th goal in the 75th minute. Marcus Rashford was subbed off instead leaving Fernandes to play the whole 90 minutes of the worst Man United defeat in the Premier League era.
This shows leadership isn’t just about who’s the most vocal. There are other ways to lead the team. Odegard is a great example.
Not defending Fernandes, i believe he and a few in the Utd squad are petulant man babies!
However, you saying he threw his arms up in frustration at not being the player subbed off is just your interpretation of what happened… How do you know he wasn’t frustrated at Rashford going off when he’s their top scorer?
Never ever seen systematic destruction of an in form football team like this 💯 😱 … That was just “Footballing Icon” … Start questioning ur own progress, that was a bleeding rear ended right mauling of the dirtiest order ..
As Gary Neville just quoted ” united just got Eaten Alive in a hostile enemy territory.
All I’m saying is, we miss Eriksen in the squad. He’s the only natural No.10 player in the squad besides Bruno. I think homie needs a rest, fr. Just think of the amount of games we’ve been playing and he started most of them , if not every single game for 80+ mins.
Yes we can debate over the fact that it’s their job to play football and that their fitness levels should be able to keep up but yo, we all just human.
Yes Bruno has an attitude problem and he’s been diving a lot. I think that’s only fault to his game. Other than that I think his work rate is relentless. He might not have the numbers to show for it (G/A)but he’s a team player.
He transformed our whole squad under Ole and should I add that he was a January signing coming from a different league.
He’s attitude led us to 2 semi-finals and an Europa league finals.
Sometimes I just think that this fan base is pathetic and low-key toxic.

Ten Hag Blasts United Players: Liverpool 7-0 Defeat
AS USUAL, united appear to be looking for a scapegoat for their inability to compete. So they strung together a little streak and starting climbing the stands and life is great, BUT as soon as the opposition becomes a little harder (granted they won against Barca) they cannot stay consistent. Talk about wins against the good teams, the leaders, how many?
Not the middle or bottom feeders. Hey good teams lose but not by 7. That is a sign of a much worse problem, mentally the team is not ready to compete against the big and best teams. Now, let’s be clear this is a team failure, not Bruno’s failure. What about the defense? Is that Bruno’s fault too? Yes he acted in frustration, but this falls on the ENTIRE team.
It’s just like the earlier struggles that were all CR7’S fault remember? When a lot of times he was not a starter or did not play at all, but somehow those loses were is fault. Pathetic. The way united treated CR7 was pathetic and unprofessional, and this result just proves he was not the source of the problem. Hey he wore the number 7.
So hopefully this is the beginning of a 7 year curse, cause that’s what the team deserves! And I for one will be happy when, ONCE AGAIN, they miss out on the real trophies! The CR7 saga showed the real class of the organization. It’s not the player’s fault but those managing the team. Ten Hag is a genious…right?

Vinicius Jr to Win a Ballon d’Or before Haaland and Mbappe

Real Madrid Rising Star Vinicius Jr to Win a Ballon d’Or before Haaland and Mbappe.
Probably he’s more successful at club level than both Mbappe and Haaland already and international wise he only trails behind Mbappe so I think he has a chance to do so.
If Mbappe don’t go to Real Madrid before Euros 2024, Vinicius will have a Balon D’Or before him. And if Mbappe doesn’t sign for Real Madrid at all, Vinicius will have more Balon D’Ors.
SportsFila don’t think there will be two players who have a strangle hold on the Ballon D’or like Messi and Ronaldo. I think Haaland and Mbappe will go back and forth but players like Vini will sneak in and get one, don’t see Haaland or Mbappe getting anymore than 4 Ballon D’ors in their career.
Vini Jnr. has improved massively from what he was last season! He looks sharper with very accurate passes, direct, precise and emphatic strikes like Mbappe! Wow what a player.

Vinicius Jr to Win a Ballon d’Or before Haaland and Mbappe
Joseph Omoyajowo: With each year, it would feel like Mbappe would be regretting not joining Real Madrid. Watching Madrid winning the UCL from being underdogs after almost signing for them last season, should have made him make up his mind not to renew with PSG, then boom, he renews.
Then watching them again this season, and thinking of how he could have been the star in performances like this, one would think that would make him want to go there even more but I think it’s fair to say he’s more interested in being super rich and being in control at PSG than getting all the hype at Madrid and being considered the favorite in winning the Ballon d’or. If Vini keeps up this momentum and Madrid win another UCL this season, it’s likely Vini wins it before him tbh.
Personally, with what Vini is doing and the glimpses of ridiculously insane football being shown by Rodrygo, I don’t think Real Madrid should consider him anymore. Especially if Endrick lives up to the hype and develops with Vini and Rodrygo. Just my opinion though.

Are The Red Devils Still in Title Race After Liverpool defeat?

‘Title pretenders’ – Arsenal fans poke fun at Gary Neville and Man United after Liverpool rout. Are The Red Devils Still in Title Race After Liverpool defeat?
Manchester United suffered a shocking 7-0 Premier League defeat to Liverpool likely meaning any hope of a title push is out of the window
It’s still Cristiano’s fault, his negativeness is still lingering in the dressing room and it’s not allowing Ten Hag to do his work appropriately, we should have ended Ronaldo’s contract sooner. Ten Hag can’t work under these conditions” – Neville probably.
The Express says that Ten Hag was “ashamed” after the defeat which Jurgen Klopp called “perfect”.
I’m amazed that Antony’s got away with the sort of scrutiny and mockery that Nunez has been subject to all season, despite both costing over 80m. At least Nunez is still bagging a goal every 2 games despite an up and down first season.
Manchester United have been dealt a damaging blow to any lasting hopes of a Premier League title charge after they were beaten 7-0 by Liverpool. The Reds took a late first half lead through Cody Gakpo, but absolutely no one would’ve expected Erik ten Hag’s men to concede six goals in the second 45 after achieving three clean sheets in their last five matches.
Darwin Nunez, Gakpo and Mohamed Salah all grabbed braces before Roberto Firmino netted a seventh in the same week it was confirmed he would be leaving the club in the summer.
Through consistent displays, United looked to have brought themselves into the title conversation and a Carabao Cup triumph over Newcastle last weekend looked to give the Red Devils momentum to have a say in what previously looked to be a straight title shootout between Manchester City and Arsenal.
Following their shocking defeat, Arsenal supporters took to Twitter to poke fun at United for believing they were in a title race, as they now sit 14 points off the Gunners.

Cody Gakpo Humiliates Manchester United
Absolutely incredible. Coming into this game Man United looked like they were on the ascendency and Liverpool had so many questions asked of them. To win 7-0 is mental. Liverpool have had such a crazy season.
Winning 9-0 against Bournemouth, our biggest win ever, and now 7-0 against ManU while also losing to lower table sides and a trouncing by Real Madrid. I don’t know if this result is a turning point is just another false Dawn.
What a crazy season.
Mohamed Salah broke Robbie Fowler’s record of 128 Premier League goals for Liverpool
Liverpool delivered the complete performance and Mohamed Salah became the club’s record Premier League goalscorer as Manchester United were overwhelmed at a joyous Anfield.
United’s renaissance under manager Erik ten Hag already has the tangible reward of the Carabao Cup but Liverpool unleashed a brutal reality check on their progress with a severe thrashing.
Liverpool took control of what had been a tight game, with Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford missing presentable chances, when former Old Trafford target Cody Gakpo applied a smooth finish to Andy Robertson’s perfect pass two minutes before the break.
The second half was a tale of sheer joy for Liverpool and unrelenting misery for United, starting after 47 minutes when Darwin Nunez’s header diverted Harvey Elliott’s driven cross past goalkeeper David de Gea.
Salah bamboozled Lisandro Martinez to play in Gakpo for another classy finish three minutes later before the Egyptian resumed his long-time role of United tormentor by getting on the scoresheet himself.
