Haaland Forced to Decide His Future Now as Man Utd Makes Quick Offer
Borussia Dortmund’s Killer Striker Erling Haaland Has Been Forced to Decide His Future Right Now as Man Utd Prepare to Make a Quick Offer.
Rangnick’s Manchester United could be forced to act quickly to land Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland after the superstar admitted his club are pushing him for a decision about his future. Haaland has been tipped to leave the German giants after becoming one of the best strikers in the world.
Under former United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Haaland was made the principle striking target for United and the Old Trafford club remain keen on the Norwegian superstar, who now has 77 goals in as many games in North Rhine-Westphalia. City also view Haaland as a top target as they seek a successor to Sergio Aguero.
Ralf Rangnick reportedly asked Manchester United bosses to target a midfield trio, as well as Erling Haaland, in his interview to become their new manager.
The German boss was hired by Man United on an interim basis until the end of the season having impressed football director John Murtough, technical director Darren Fletcher and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward in interview.
Rangnick identified the midfield as the key area of weakness while in talks with the United hierarchy and suggested three players they should be targeting to improve them in that area.
Haaland was in action on Friday night as he grabbed a brace in his side’s 5-1 Bundesliga thumping of SC Freiburg.
And after the game he admitted he will soon turn his attentions to planning the next steps of his career.
Borussia Dortmund are now pushing me to make a decision about things,” Haaland said.
“But I just want to play football. That probably means that I will soon have to get things started.
Bundelsiga giants Dortmund spent just £17.1million to sign Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg at the start of 2020 after meeting his release clause.
Haaland impressive stats attract Man Utd interest
Manchester United top target Haaland has been a revelation in Germany.
Erling Haaland has racked-up a staggering 78 goals in 77 games for Dortmund and has proved too hot for even the best defenders in the league to handle.
This season he has already scored 15 goals and contributed six assists in the Bundesliga to help his side climb to second in the table.
Manchester United and Man City have been linked with Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland who has revealed the German side are now applying pressure on his future.
Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has revealed that his club have begun to put pressure on him regarding a decision about his future.
The 21-year-old ended his two-game wait for a goal with a brace in a comprehensive win over SC Freiburg as Dortmund won to put the pressure on league leaders Bayern Munich.
A whole host of clubs have been touted with a move for the highly-rated forward including Manchester United and Man City, though it’s been widely reported that Real Madrid are the frontrunners.
Haaland has two years left on his current deal at Signal Iduna Park but European powerhouses are on red alert with his reported £66m (€75m) release clause becoming active in the summer.

Manchester United Suffers a Huge Setback in Their Efforts to Sign Kieran Trippier
Recent LaLiga winners Atletico Madrid have dealt a big blow to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Manchester United Have Been Dealt a Huge Setback in Their Efforts to Sign Kieran Trippier this summer. Atleti have finally declared that the offensive right back is not sale now.
Football Fan Cast said the Red Devils have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old Trippier throughout the summer as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to add some cover and competitions for first-choice right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

However, it’s now looking increasingly unlikely that Trippier will return to English shores in the current window, with Spanish outlet AS claiming the La Liga outfit have informed United that he’s not for sale.
Their report states: “Strength at the back remains at the heart of the team’s identity and an asset which they don’t take for granted. Precisely for that reason, the club has made it clear that they are not prepared to enter negotiations with any club for Kieran Trippier.
Atletico Madrid’s stance on Kieran Trippier transfer to Man utd
“The response from Atlético Madrid to every single inquiry about right-back Trippier has been a resounding No. Atleti have had to explain several times that Trippier is an important player for the team in their defence of the title and he isn’t for sale.”
It concludes by revealing the only way for any interested party can prize the full-back away from Wanda Metropolitano is by meeting the €60m (£51m) buyout clause in his contract.
Why Solskjaer needs Trippier?
Trippier has established himself as a top-class right-back in recent years following a string of impressive performances for both Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid.
Kieran has outstanding quality, and that kind of profile in that position is very important.”
While Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s defensive qualities are unquestionable, the former Crystal Palace gem struggles with the attacking aspect of his game.
