He Gave Us Stability and Discipline: Bruno Fernandes Lauds Utd Boss ETH
“I think in our team, we were missing a little bit of that and I think now everyone understands that you do whatever you have to do or you’re out.” Solskjaer had previously called out his side’s ill-discipline, but was unable to address it before his sacking last season. “He gave us stability and discipline: Bruno Fernandes Lauds Utd Boss Erik. He’s going to make a great manager one day!
I love this man’s great answers and outstanding insight. However, we don’t get responses like that if pundits are not asking those questions, it’s refreshing to see questions about the actual football because fans want to hear that, and players like Bruno that know the game so well have great answers.
Ten Hag arrived following success with Ajax and has proved to be a hard taskmaster with his methods clearly impressing Fernandes. He told NBC Sports : “You enjoy it when you win games, if you are winning, everyone will be more happy. The strikers want to get their goals, their assists, those kinds of things are always important for everyone.
“I think the main thing for us, because we’ve been in difficult moments with the changing of coaches, so we now find a coach that gave us stability, that was really important and something that was missing, and a big disciple. That, for me, was something that was massive on our team that we needed.
Bruno is Top class, down to earth, gives credit to his teammates and is sincere about it too. Clearly knows his teammates well. Not afraid to say what the team needs in terms of discipline and ends the interview with a hand shake to each broadcaster.
This man is definitely captain of manutd. Humble, speaks better english than Maguire 🤣and can take you through the plays piece by piece
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has praised manager Erik ten Hag for bringing ‘stability and discipline’ to the club following his arrival in the summer.
Fernandes has cited the stability and discipline brought in by Erik ten Hag as a crucial change at Manchester United.
The playmaker has been a regular since the Dutchman arrived with the Red Devils looking to mount a top four charge after a poor start to the campaign. Ten Hag was hired in the summer and tasked with restoring success to Old Trafford as the club aimed to take a long-term approach.
At least these are questions based on tactics, team atmosphere and decision making. So tired of the many Journalists looking for a headline, asking loaded controversial questions. One of the benefits of Ronaldo leaving, will hopefully mean less media circus interviews. More football related interviews please. 👍🏻Less celebrity, entertainment weekly ‘Club in crisis’ crap.
Fernandes is enjoying life under Ten Hag – unlike Ronaldo
Bruno gets disrespected a lot especially after United’s horrible season last year but people are so quick to forget how he dragged a dead United team to finish top 3 back to back before all of that. He was robbed of at least 2 assists last night.
‘That is really important and something that was missing, and also big discipline. That was something that, for me, was massive on our team that we need – I think in every team, probably.
‘But I think in our team we were missing a little bit of that, but now everyone understands that you do whatever you have to do or you are out.’
Asked if he’s enjoying his football at United more than ever, Fernandes continued: ‘No, no, obviously I’ve had wonderful times here.

Ghanaian MP Isaac Adongo Makes Fun of Harry Maguire
Honorable Isaac Adongo, an MP in Ghana for Bolgatanga Central constituency, ripped into England’s center-back Harry Maguire during a session in parliament. The unprompted attack on the Man United captain was used to criticize the vice president’s economic record, as Adongo accused Bawumia of scoring ‘own goals’. Weird economic Maguire, but very funny.
Ghanaian MP Isaac Adongo Makes Fun of Harry Maguire. The way he uses Harry to make his “economic Maguire” point is pure genius.
Goodness! This is the best I’ve heard about Maguire all these while. Beats all those trash talks online and offline, stand up comedies, pub banters… man, give this politician a medal for citing a clear case-study.
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was roasted by the Ghanaian parliament in a bizarre debate.
Using the England defender as an analogy of the reason, Ghanaian economics is in a bad position is comedic gold.
The way Maguire has become a legendary meme footballer… Just not in the way he wanted. Watch the funy video below:
It’s hard to get depressed in Ghana for this same reason. We know how to draw laughs from any terrible situation.
A GHANAIAN MP bizarrely used Harry Maguire to attack his political opponents during a debate on the economy.
Isaac Adongo left both his political allies and football fans baffled and amused with his analogy which has now gone viral.
A Ghanaian MP had parliament roaring with laughter after comparing the nation’s vice president unfavorably with Harry Maguire.
GH LAWMAKER Isaac Adongo accused Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of being an “economic Maguire” and scoring repeated own goals during the 2023 budget debate as his colleagues howled with laughter at the surprise footballing analogy.
Adongo said that Maguire was once “tackling everybody and throwing his body everywhere… he was seen as the best defender in the world.”
But then Manchester United bought the player for £80m and he quickly “became the biggest threat at the center of the Manchester United defense”.
“[He was] tackling Manchester players and giving assists to opponents. Mr Speaker, when you see the opponents go to score, Maguire will score for them,” Mr Adongo continued.
“Mr Speaker,” he added, “You remember in this country we also have an economic Maguire. This economic Maguire, we’re clapping saying this man is the best in managing foreign terms.
While the politicians around him broke down in laughter, Twitter was slightly more bemused by the odd speech and Maguire fans rushed to their player’s defense.
One person said: “What makes it funnier is that Maguire has only ever scored an own goal in his career.”
Another added: “Surely this is a voiceover. Harsh on Maguire though.”
While one very sympathetic fan added: “At this point, he transcends Phil Jones. A decade of following football, he is the most ridiculed player I have ever seen. Very unfair to him.”
Other football followers, wary of the ongoing tournament in Qatar, were dreaming of a new World Cup rivalry.
One wrote: “Nahhh I need England vs Ghana at the World Cup.”
The football analogies continued in the parliament when another member warned against voting the former president back into power by comparing it to Chelsea’s decision to bring back Romelu Lukaku.
Alex Tetteh, an MP told, members it would be better to “maintain Maguire” rather than bring back a player they now know to be “the worst striker in the whole world”.

Four Trophies plus Top 4: Ten Hag Eyes Silverware for the Season
Carabao Cup, Europa League, FA CUp, and EPL Title. Not an impossible dream! Four Trophies plus Top 4: Ten Hag Sets United Target for the Season.
Erik ten Hag targeting top four and trophies as the Premier League resumes.
As per sky sports reports, Erik ten Hag hopes his meticulous planning throughout the World Cup break will ensure Manchester United remain on track for a top-four finish and silverware.
What has Ten Hag won as manager?
With Ajax, Ten Hag also claimed his first trophies as a manager, winning the league and cup double. In January 2022, he became the fastest manager to reach 100 league wins with Ajax, achieving the feat in just 128 matches.
United, who ended a 38-day absence from competitive action in Wednesday’s 2-0 Carabao Cup fourth-round victory over Burnley, resume their Premier League campaign against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on December 27.
Fifth-place United sit three points outside the top four ahead of the resumption and Ten Hag has left no stone unturned as he prepares to mastermind a drive into the Champions League qualification places before the season ends.
There is more coming from this man sooner than people think. He will surprise many people in the media what he achieves with Man United which we know have been below standard for many years. His man management is great and ruthless. Good luck boss ETH.
Since Erik ten Hag began his reign as Manchester United manager in the summer, the Reds have won 15 of 22 matches in all competitions. While the defeats to Brighton and Brentford at the start of the campaign were disappointing, United have been much-improved in recent months and are still in the hunt for every available trophy.
The Reds currently find themselves in fifth position in the Premier League table, but have a game in hand over fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. Given that Ten Hag has always insisted the priority, at least for this season, is to finish inside the top four, a trophy, while craved by the club’s supporters, would simply come as a major bonus to the Dutchman.
United defeated Burnley in the Carabao Cup round of 16 earlier in the week, setting up a quarter-final clash against League One strugglers Charlton Athletic. The Addicks have only won five of their opening 21 matches in the league, but defeated Brighton on penalties in the last round of the competition.
Charisma, humour demanding and a born winner 🏆 this man got it all to take us back to the promised land ..I really look forward to his press conference.
Liverpool and Chelsea coming to life can stop United getting top four maybe, but otherwise I’d expect it.
Does Ten Hag not want Ronaldo?
ETH is reportedly considering buying Kylian Mbappe as CR7 replacement.
In February, United played Crystal Palace and Leeds in the Premier League, before clashing with Catalan giants Barcelona in a Europa League play-off tie. The Reds were disappointed not to have won their Europa League group, while also questioning their luck when being drawn against the Spanish side. It promises to be a mammoth two-legged encounter, and one that could have a positive, or negative, impact on the remainder of the season.

Video: Ten Hag, Rashford & Malacia React To Forest Win #Casemiro
Hear from Erik ten Hag, Marcus Rashford and Tyrell Malacia as they share their thoughts on a win in the last game at Old Trafford in 2022.
A brilliant team performance from the lads. We were mesmerising to watch at time;s the passing, the linking up, the movement etc– it was a joy to behold. Still need to score more goals; we should’ve had at least 3 more.
As for Casemiro, what a truly unbelievable performance. That man was everywhere making flying sliding tackles, perfect interceptions; he’s just an absolute man machine.
Casemiro is The Best CDM in the world!!!! Center back Luke was also amazing!!! Rashy and Martial kept their performance this season!!! Please Win Win Win!!
We’re playing some beautiful football at times, the cohesion is building. Excellent performance from the whole team tonight.
Casemiro is consistently class. GGM
3 Points At Old Trafford 🙌 | Man Utd 3-0 Nottingham Forest | Highlights
Watch the highlights of the last game at Old Trafford in 2022, with goals from Rashford, Martial and Fred.
Even without seeing the stats you know Casemiro had the most interceptions, tackles and defensive involvements. The cement between the stones. Clear man of the match.
Casemiro what a sensational performance he had. He was everywhere. He’s an absolute beast a man machine. A truly unbelievable signing.
Erik ten Hag was pleased with Manchester United’s successful return to Premier League action, following the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest – our biggest win in the division under the Dutchman.
Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and substitute Fred all found the net for the Reds in Man U last home game of 2022.
The boss spoke to various official broadcasters after the game, including MUTV, Amazon Prime Video, Viaplay, Talksport, Match of the Day and Bein Sport, and was asked a series of questions on a number of topics, including the performances of Luke Shaw, Casemiro and Marcus Rashford.
Here is a selection of what Erik had to say on a damp night at Old Trafford, illuminated by the team’s display.
BE MORE RUTHLESS
“I can confirm that [is the case], because that is what I said in the dressing room. We have to score more goals. I think we created so many chances, it takes us until just before the end to make the third goal. I think we have to finish the game in earlier moments. I think just after half-time, we created two really good chances and we have to finish the game. Many games are to come, you can then save more energy, which is better for everyone, but also for the progress of the team, you need that. I think our players can score, you can see that, Martial is a goalscorer, Rashford is a goalscorer, Bruno Fernandes scores goals, so we have a lot of players who can score goals but we have to be ruthless.”
