How is Adrien Rabiot Better Than McFred (Scott McTominay & Fred)?
Sky Sports suggest Manchester United have agreed a deal with Juventus to sign Adrien Rabiot, but how does the French midfielder compare to United’s current players?
Let’s respect that Ten Hag wants him, the question is: does Rabiot offer anything different to being a bit better than Scott? We thought they were going for a ball winner.
Here is How Adrien Rabiot May Be Better Than McFred (Scott McTominay & Fred). It’s about passing and defensive ability, in the premier league, it’s all about closing in and not letting the opponent pass the ball freely, the main reason for man united defeat in the last few seasons is that the players don’t know how to pinch the ball from opponent players. They don’t run enough to open space for their team mates when they have the ball.
Watch this Video Below and you will know How Adrien Rabiot is Better Than McFred (Scott McTominay & Fred)
Averagely, Rabiot is a good player, more suited as a LCM in a 3-man midfield than in the double pivot, but still, he’s a very good midfielder. The problem is, he has an attitude, and he is whiny. He’s not the personality that Man Utd need, he would be an upgrade, without question, but maybe Man Utd need to face the facts of where they are and maybe stop judging transfers on hype and whether people have heard of them and have a coherent team to be built.
Adrien Rabiot passing stats vs McFred
“‘Is Rabiot’s 83% pass completion what Utd need right now?. Literally lower than Fred and McTominay both 85%?
“Now I don’t think you can make these comparisons across different teams and leagues but if you’re going to, at least get it right 😂 83% is only just above average for the top 5 European leagues for midfielders“, Kier Little laughed out.
“Adrien Rabiot completed 2.49 passes for Juventus (per 90 mins) last season, ranking him in the BOTTOM 12% of midfielders in Europe,”
“If I speak, I am in BIG trouble…” Statman Dave tweeted.
Statistics show zero goals for Rabiot despite playing in 32 Serie A games in 2021/22.
A mere two assists throughout the season combined with an average of 29 passes per 90 minutes should also concern United fans.
Leaving aside the pros and cons of signing Rabiot. We are told that he would be a signing in addition to FDJ (if he comes). Given that, is there any reason at all why Rabiot couldn’t have been signed months ago and given time to train/settle into system? The answer is no. Just another example of the incompetence of the non football experts in charge of transfers at Utd. Glazers out.
We all acted like with Pogba gone, the midfield would be sorted out pretty easily. Pogba was a real virus but he was never the only problem. The problem was terrible scouting and no vision from the top of the club. You can’t just simply bring in new managers over and over again and expect things to magically change when the issues are trickling down from above.
Can Man Utd EVER get back to their best under TEN HAG and Glazers?
Yes, United fans trust ten hag but they fear the glazers will ruin his transfer plans. Adrien Rabiot, Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia, and Martinez were acquired cheaply in the hope that the results will be positive this season.
There has been a cloud over this club ever since the glazers took over. Liverpool went through a similar thing with Gilette and Hicks and look what happened when they were taken over by FSG. The current ownership is responsible for all the ineptness on and off the pitch. From recruitment, to overpaying for players, payingnplayers too much, poor negotiating, not cashing in on players like lingard, pogba etc when they could easily have done. Can’t tell you how frustrating it us, but I think we’ll be back on top at some point, football works in cycles, just hope it’s not 30 years like Liverpool!
The problems were there from day one, you could see it right up until Sir Alex retired, by the time he did the club were left with a back 4 which consisted of 3 players reaching there mid 30s, Carrick who was in his 30s, Giggs was 39, Scholes had just retired at 37. Rooney was close to burn out, It was an aging squad which if Fergie hadnt had his hands tied behind his back would have already slowly changed the aging players out for a team full of fresh hungry players. Whoever came in next was screwed from the start. Even the training ground and stadium needed updating before it crumbled around us.
According to GiveMeSports, Adrian Rabiot to Man Utd move has been met with an overwhelming feeling of negativity amongst the United support.
The fact the Frenchman isn’t wanted in Juve Turin will no doubt be a huge reason for that.

5 Ways Ten Hag Man Utd Can Bounce Back to Premier League Title Challenge
In the English Premier League, Manchester United are the easiest team to play against. They stand off, don’t press, and give you lots of time to play around them. Sometimes they even help their opponents with own goals from Harry maguire. Let’s Look At 5 Ways ten Hag Man Can Bounce Back to Premier League title Challenge.
“Leopards don’t change their spots” – Roy Keane blasts Manchester United players. United former captain Roy Keane has been criticizing the attitude of Manchester United players & discussing the changes needed at the club since April 2018.
Remember how people laughed when Jose said that one of the biggest achievements of his career was finishing 2nd in the league with Man United? Ole remains the only manager that brought brief joy and victory to the hearts of fans. No matter what, he made fans believe that there was something good in this club. Coming in to win 10 consecutive matches with those guys was enough to always thank him for everything.
Here Are 5 Ways ten Hag Man Utd Can Bounce Back to Premier League title Challenge
1. Balance the wage bill
To fix the wage problem at United and help improve performances, why don’t United follow the model of many businesses’ sales department? I think at least half (maybe even 2/3) of a player’s potential wages should be up in the air and based on performances. Bonuses for things like the following: star rating by fans, man of the match, not causing a mistake that lead to a goal, being involved in a goal, clean sheet, goals, assists, minutes on the pitch, pass completion stats, losing possession (shots don’t count) winning a trophy, qualifying for the Champions League… I know things like shirt sales matter too, but players could get a percentag of that as a separate payment rather than adding it to their wage.
2. Sack Maguire and McFred
The only constants for United are McFred and Macquire. Manchester United could be out of the top 7 if they don’t find solutions for Maguire and McFred issues. Raymond Butler says it will take at least 2 years to properly judge Ten Hag as he faces a similar if not greater rebuilding job to when Jurgen Klopp first started out at Liverpool.
Man Utd lost so many players at the end of last season that haven’t been replaced. They should’ve already made 4 new signings by now, it’s no wonder Ronaldo wants out.
3. Trust and back the coach with more signings
People kinda forget that the building of the team takes time,; even for legends like Klopp or even Sir Alex, they also did not start winning every game right away, look at their first season, today fans would want them out of the team too because they lost a couple of games against teams who had the manager build the team for years now, it’s all BS and instagram kinds of thinking. Relax, let the manager do his work and judge him after at least a season maybe? not ONE game…Support your team for better or worse, If ETH stays for at least 3 seasons, then Man U will see some form of improvement.
Man U is a big club that is currently at mid table.
4. Kick Out the Glazer owners (force them to sell Man United FC)
United “fans” won’t get over their efforts to get rid of the Glazers and so they are in perpetual downfall. Don’t think for a moment that 6th is the lowest they will go. The sense of entitlement at Old Trafford is just so weird, when Liverpool were falling short in the mid 2000’s, the players still gave their all, especially in the Derby’s against Man Utd and often won many of the Derby’s, these united players really don’t care. The problem now is that the board and Glazers have no long term vision and will probably sack EtH if he continues losing without even giving him the resources to have a fighting chance in the first place.
David Moyes was given an old squad and they gave him Fellaini. Van Gaal said United is not a football club; it’s a business. Mourinho said 2nd was his best ever achievement. Rangnick said it needs open heart surgery. You can rinse and repeat this clip until football people are in the club and not yes men.
5. Erik ten Hag Man Utd must get players with ‘heart and soul’
ESPN’s Stevie suggests Man United get players with ‘heart and soul’. The problem with keeping MaGuire as captain is that he cannot go back into the dressing room and point fingers at players who are playing terribly. His entire team would bash him for the amount of mistakes he makes on a weekly basis. A captain needs to be a leader, make less mistakes, be accountable and lead by your next example. His lack of presence as a leader on the pitch is ManU’s downfall.
Sell the current squad and replace them with younger academy players or buy players with potential. This might take Man Utd a couple of seasons, but it makes sense in the long run. Look at the class of 92, they played together for 10-15 years. We have to do something similar with the team, let’s play the youth – Garner, Hannibal, Zidane, Fish, Brandon Williams etc
Where Will Man Utd Finish in the Premier League This Season?
Top 4 is now unrealistic for United as Tottenham and Chelsea are the frontrunners for 3rd and 4th. According to the Guardian, Man Utd 4-0 defeat to Brentford is United’s worst away run since 1936. Was the performance in west London worse than the 5-0 defeat at Crystal Palace in 1972? It’s probably too early to be sure, but Saturday was haplessness at a volume that will resonate through the generations.

Ralf Rangnick and Jose Mourinho Were Right about Man Utd Problem
Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United Were DESTROYED by Brentford 4-0, Proving That Ralf Rangnick and Jose Mourinho Were Right about Man Utd Problem.
ESPN said this loss makes Erik ten Hag the first Man United manager in over 100 years to lose their first two league games.
Jose was right … finishing 2nd with this man United team was worth a trophy in itself and one if not his greatest achievement … 100% serious … and every month since then that famous quote … which we all laughed at at the time … it gets more respect by the HOUR.
So far Mourihno was the best ManU manager with trophy record in the post Ferguson era, Mourinho had seen the problem that he may have solved but the publicity & bad players (like Shaw and Pogba) made him look bad,
Ten Hag leaving Maguire as captain and in his starting line up was his first wrong move. Ralf Rangnick already gave a fair assessment of United: they need 6-8 or 10 new players, years before they can compete, etc. But they decided to throw all his assessment out of the way, including his transfer recommendations and now got stuck with this….
Ten Hag came into the EPL feeling over-confident and arrogant. He probably thought he can conquer the Premier League with his superior Ajax football style.
Man Utd has now suffered 7 away defeats in a row: 22 goals conceded, 2 goals scored. Here’s the list:
– Brentford 4-0
– Palace 1-0
– Brighton 4-0
– Everton 1-0
– Arsenal 3-1
– Liverpool 4-0
– City 4-1
They could easily lose their next few games. Starting with Liverpool next up. A relegation dogfight beckons for United.
People said Rangnick was rubbish even though he was made manager during mid season. Ten Hag who is a very good coach can’t even get anything out of these players and he has had a pre season. Man Utd as a club is a disaster. Until the owners change and football people are put into that club from the top then Man Utd will be in this mess season in season out. Guardiola or Klopp wouldn’t be able to get anything out of these players.
The end of Manchester United began when the American owners bought the club with borrowed money and dumped the debt on the club. 10 years later, the debt is greater and decision making in the sporting sense was beyond poor. Who pays £80mil for Maguire? Ruben Dias was 20millon less and twice the player. Recruiting was very poor, take away Ronaldo’s 32 gials last year and they’d be fighting to stay in the Premier…
“With Man Utd losing 4–0 at half time to Brentford, we have PAID OUT on Erik Ten Hag to be the first Premier League manager to get sacked this season.”, Paddy Power predicts.
United finished sixth in the Premier League last term and finished with 58 points, their lowest-ever tally.
Ten Hag arrived from Ajax with a track record of success and ability to improve players.
He’s made three signings so far in the form of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez, but anticipates more arrivals in the next few weeks.
