Man Utd Reveals Plans for January Transfer Window

January Transfer Window Plans of Man Utd

Will Manchester United be playing Champions League football next season? Let’s take a look at what Manchester United need to address in the second half of the season to get Champions League football for next season. SportsFila breaks down some of their positives, areas for improvement and a few players that United could target in January to strengthen their squad.

But what do you think is next for Manchester United?

Manchester United are reportedly ‘discussing three signings‘ for January transfer window

Amid the world cup break, United are currently fifth in the Premier League table.

United may need Jeremie Frimpong, Tielemens, and Cody Gakpo. Frimpong will be cover for Dalot. Cody Gakpo is needed as he will start at striker as ten hag will convert him.  Let Fred go on a free, and have Mctominay or Kone/Tielemans as backup options then get a world class CM in June.

Man U can choose to sell van de beek and move Eriksen as a backup option for bruno. Let Martial leave in June and then get a world class striker and have Cody Gakpo compete with that striker. Then let Maguire and Lindelof leave and buy a left footed cb. Right footed players need a fast cb.

Manchester United are reportedly discussing the possibility of signing two new right-backs and a striker in January. The Red Devils have enjoyed an upturn in fortunes under Erik ten Hag in recent months and have climbed to fifth in the Premier League table.

The next step is definitely to build the squad in January

They need Gakpo to replace Ronaldo, another right winger as cover for Antony, a playmaking midfielder as cover for Eriksen, a right back to replace Wan Bissaka, and 2 defenders to cover for Varane and Martinez.

I think they should get Moukoko or for a right winger, it would make the attack very versatile. And then someone like Tielemans in midfield. Right back is a bit of a wildcard. In defense, they could try for Timber but still need another left footed center back to replace Maguire.

But all of this is going to set them back a lot of money and outgoings are slow. Henderson, Williams, Jones, Bailly, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Telles, Diallo, Pellistri, and Elanga are all still on the books who need to be sold in addition to those already mentioned.

AND Alvaro Fernandez, Savage, Iqbal, Mainoo, Hannibal, McNeill etc. from the Academy need to be promoted and challenge for a place in the squad and Garnacho to keep getting the sort of game time that he is. That may push up the outgoings to include Shaw, Fred, Mctominay, Donny, Martial, and even Sancho.

Rafael Leao and Cody Gakpo Targeted By Manchester United Boss

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, United have scouted Denzel Dumfries and Jeremie Frimpong as they are internally discussing the prospect of signing a new right-back if the out-of-favor Aaron Wan-Bissaka departs the club.

And in the next few days, club chiefs will also discuss whether they want to add a new striker to their ranks.

Only after this is done can we think about Champions League qualification. We’re nowhere near challenging for those spaces consistently. It takes time.

The Premier League is a very demanding league, with a lot of pace. When you look at the fixtures, some and maybe all of the clubs have to play two or three matches a week, depending on the Champions League, other European leagues and of course the Domestic cups.

The most demanding league in the World, whether that is good or not is up to each and everyone of you to decide. I think people forgot one major aspect in this sort of scouting season–whether these players are injury prone and whether those players have the attributes to sustain in the Premier League.

And I certainly question whether Varane has been scouted for that. Knowing Manchester United they love these kinds of ‘World Class players’, and they have been watching him and said to each other ” Well, Varane is a ‘World Class player’. Let’s take him! “

It is kind of a story, but I think Manchester United needs to look at these things I’ve just mentioned as well.

Glazers Finally Closer to Selling Man Utd Following CR7 Departure

Glazers Finally Closer to Selling Man Utd Following CR7 Departure

David Beckham, Sir Jim Ratcliffe & Apple Inc. all linked to the purchase of Manchester United. The Glazers Finally Closer to Selling Man Utd Following CR7 Departure.

Apart from broadcast rights, Apple Inc. could help ManU tremendously by enhancing the clubs use of technology to improve its game. Old Trafford and other ManU facilities will be upgraded, I mean just look at Apple’s offices… as long as the club makes its demands and ensures that the new owners fulfill their promises.

How much did Glazers pay for Man U?

A whopping 790m. The Glazers bought United in 2005 for 790 million pounds ($942 million) in a highly leveraged deal which has been criticised for loading debt onto the club.

Did the Glazers put United in debt?

The £4bn valuation for United takes into account paying off the debt the Glazers have saddled the club with and the ground- and other infrastructure-improvements to get on an even keel. They will cost around £1.5-2bn so the real cost will be around double that of Liverpool

Imagine one of the biggest and (already) richest clubs in the world, being owned by the richest company in the world. Yikes!

If Apple do buy United, great, they would definitely help rebuild the club. I just hope they give all power to Ten Hag and all the Directors handle the football on the pitch.

Glazers Finally Closer to Selling Man Utd Following CR7 Departure

After news that Cristiano Ronaldo has left Manchester United, why are the Glazer family looking to sell the club?

Think it would be a good move for the club if a Beckham consortium bought the club.

At Least if that happened, it would be about his love for the club rather than making money.

In 2005 the Glazers took over probably the most well run club in football, one of the best stadiums and infrastructure, through loans and from then on sucked every ounce of money out of the club, and didn’t spend a single ounce on stadium or infrastructure.

Man Utd Glazers owners realize now they need to spend a lot on stadiums and at the same time make sure United don’t fall further.

American owner Avram Glazer declined the opportunity to dispute Cristiano Ronaldo’s claim that the club’s owners don’t care about Manchester United.

During his interview with Piers Morgan that was released last week Ronaldo questioned the Glazers and confirmed he had never spoken to a member of the family.

“The Glazers, they don’t care about the club. I mean, professional sport, as you know, Manchester is a marketing club,” Ronaldo said. “They will get money from the marketing – the sport, it’s, they don’t really care, in my opinion.

“The fans, they’re always right. I think the fans should know the truth, should know that the players want the best for the club. I want the best for the club. This is why I came to Manchester United.”

The Glazers have since put United up for sale and Avram was asked about Ronaldo’s comments after being doorstepped by a Sky News journalist in Florida.

The reporter said: “Cristiano Ronaldo says you don’t care about the club and thousands of United fans agree with him.”

Ronaldo did probably have a lot to do with this decision, mainly when he brought to light all the stuff about the stadium and facilities being way under developed and not being invested in.

I think the glazers heard that and knew they had to sell Man U because they didn’t want to invest in the club in that way but now they know they have to because players are coming forward about it, they want to keep their money and not invest and the only way for them to do that now is to sell the club to someone else to make it their responsibility.

New owners don’t need to spend billions on players, stadiums and training grounds. All they need to do is keep the club debt free. The club itself generates money like a champ.

Manchester United Seeks Legal Advice On Cristiano Ronaldo Piers Morgan Interview

Manchester United Seeks Legal Advice On Cristiano Ronaldo Piers Morgan Interview

SportsFila understands from Sky Sports sources that Manchester United taking legal advice before responding to Cristiano Ronaldo’s shock interview with Piers Morgan.

Manchester United will have legal advice before they decide how to respond to fully to Cristiano Ronaldo’s bombshell interview.

Ronaldo’s interview with TalkTV, published by The Sun on Sunday evening, saw the 37-year-old criticise the club and manager Erik ten Hag, who the player says he has “no respect” for.

Sky Sports News understands Ten Hag and the United players are extremely disappointed with the manner and timing of Ronaldo’s interview.

The club only found out about the interview as they were preparing to fly back from London on Sunday evening following their 2-1 win over Fulham and they do not understand why he has said what he has said.

They are hugely disappointed that he would disrespect the club, his manager and team-mates in this way and United are likely to consider all their options now regarding the player.

Ronaldo was told on Thursday that he would not be in the starting XI against Fulham but he would have been in the squad. He told the club he was ill. This was his plan to be released and if he plays well in the world cup it will be all about him.

August- October: Ronaldo was in the news for sitting on the bench, scoring the 800th goal, and leaving the stadium.
November: Ronaldo is in news for dropping Bazooka.
December: Ronaldo will be in the news for playing well or failing in the Worldcup
January: Ronaldo will be in the news for a winter transfer.

Manchester United Seeks Legal Advice On Cristiano Ronaldo Piers Morgan Interview

This was inevitable. Anyone willing to leave sentimentality out of the equation knew that the Ronaldo transfer was unnecessary. He was brought back to the club to save Ole’s bacon and for United to flex a bit of muscle at their neighbours. A lot of United fans knew deep down that this was a misstep.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave a bombshell interview criticising Manchester United and Erik ten Hag; the 37-year-old said he felt betrayed by the club for wanting him out and said of Ten Hag: “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me”; Jamie Carragher gives his reaction.

Last thing Ten Hag needs is this. I love Cristiano. But he should learn that football isn’t always going to rotate around him. And that interview expresses an egotistical, non-compromising Ronaldo. If you love United, you’ve got to love what’s best for the club. And sometimes that means being benched and letting other players contribute.

Stop being so selfish. For me, this interview is not the nail in the coffin. Nail in the coffin is going to be Portugal, in the World Cup, struggling to score with Cristiano upfront. Maybe then he’ll know that the reality is he’s aging and can’t do everything by himself any longer.

Ronaldo wants the sack from Man utd following Piers Morgan interview

This was always going to happen. It was always going to end like this. That’s exactly why I said 18 months ago: it was a massive mistake for Manchester United to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club.

Everyone knew about cr7’s tantrums and his attitude, its just people were reluctant to criticize his behaviour because it is football in context we are watching not his antics.
But, since he isn’t performing well either and his team performing better when he is benched, he lost his cool and he up’ed his antics also to the scale he is hurting only himself and no one else.

Surely Ronaldo knew before he signed for utd second time round that the club was in mess regardless of who’s to blame and now he starts to speak out in public as utd seem to be turning around from the decline that they have been in for years now .. or he’s decided to openly speak out to engineer his way out of the club for the January transfer window.

It appears there is no way back for Ronaldo at United and it’s unlikely he’ll play for the club again. Everyone at the club has done whatever they can to help Ronaldo but there is only so much they can do.

When he was told he was not starting against Villa last Thursday, he went to see United’s medical department to tell them he was not well. United have not seen him since.

He wants to be sacked, that’s obvious. He told the club in the summer that he wanted to leave, which is football – these things happen. There were no takers, maybe because of his wages or the price Manchester United wanted.

A New Super Striker is Coming to Old Trafford

A New Super Striker is Coming to Old Trafford

Great News! A New Super Striker Could Be Coming to Old Trafford This January or Summer.

Statman Dave believes Manchester United are definitely improving under Erik Ten Hag but a big part of their game that is lacking is their ability to consistently score goals and with just 16.7% of their Premier League goals coming from their centre forward, signing a new one could improve this. So in this post, we take a look at 3 strikers that Man Utd should sign in January who could fit into Ten Hag’s tactics and offer an improvement on what the Red Devils currently have.

Evanilson of Porto, Osimhen, and Ivan Toney Are Possible Manchester United Striker Targets.

One trasnfer rumor on 7th July 2022 stated:” With Cristiano Ronaldo now looking set to leave Old Trafford, Manchester United are expected to bring in a new forward this january or summer.”

A New Super Striker is Coming to Old Trafford AS Ronaldo Nears the Exit

Victor Osimhen keeps winning penalties and assisting his team mates and his endless workrate..he’s a pure hungry engine room…still only 23 an absolute monster that ETH can refine…just look at what Eth did with Haller at Ajax, just imagine Osimhen.

It would be great to see Evanilson of Porto at United. Dude’s got tricks, pace, can score goals. He reminds me of Ronaldo, Il Fenomeno, in some ways.

I think United play better with a Martial type 9 than a pure goalscorer, Man U benefit from better retention and combination play as well as space creation when Martials on the pitch and players like Bruno and Rashford have been more productive in this circumstance.

Ideally, the reds could also go for Jonathan David, he has these qualities, versatility and a pressing game that could be transformative to our team and take us up a level.

A New Striker IS Coming to Old Trafford in January or Summer. Mason Greenwoodwas a gem of a player and it’s embarassing that he threw his chances away without discipline.

Ivan Toney and Vangelis Pavlidis would also be welcome additions. I also want to see Charlie McNeill being given a chance. I love Martial but can Erik ten Hag find a regime which stops him getting injured?

Sancho seemed to be doing ok on the right wing and working well with Dalot before Anthony arrived, perhaps he’d fair better there than on the left in competition with the Brazilian. I don’t see him getting many minutes ahead of Rashford, especially with Garnacho’s confidence, form and directness.

As for buying another forward, utd can still go for Gakpo as a more versatile and hopefully still cheaper option in January.

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag wants a new No.9 and the club have their eye on Porto‘s Evanilson, but the Brazilian could cost them in the region of 80 million euros.

The Red Devils have already had an opening bid of 60 million euros (plus five million in add-ons) rejected by the Portuguese club. An improved offer of 70 million is being prepared, but the Dragons are holding out for the 80 million stated in his release clause.

One thing’s certain and that’s that if the 22-year-old does leave Porto this summer, he will become their most expensive sale of all time.

Nigerian Napoli striker Victor Osimhen could move to Old Trafford

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is of interest to Manchester United as they draft up their long and shortlists of goalscoring targets next

The Sun reports that Manchester United had been interested in offering Napoli their striker Cristiano Ronaldo in part-exchange for £102 million-rated forward Victor Osimhen. The 23-year-old Nigerian has been tracked by Arsenal and Tottenham as well, but the Serie A sie have decided that they do not want to lose any players in the winter transfer window.

Manchester United supporters have urged the club to sign Victor Osimhen in January. The Nigerian stole the show as his hat-trick helped Napoli trounce Sassuolo 4-0 and maintain their grip on top spot in Serie A.

Osimhen has now bagged seven goals in eight league games this season to continue his rich vein of form. Last year, the 23-year-old – who cost Napoli €70million two years ago – became one of Europe’s hottest properties by bagging 18 goals.

SportsFila has seen Manchester Evening reports linking Osimhen with a move to Old Trafford to solve Erik ten Hag’s striker dilemma. As it stands, Marcus Rashford is being given an opportunity to lead the line while Cristiano Ronaldo settles for a place on the bench.
