Madrid Beats Pep Guardiola As Manchester United Fans React to Man city Champions League Failure.

Real Madrid is a standard the entire world should learn from. It’s amazing how they maintain calmness in the situation that they were, and the total confidence they had knowing that they can still turn things around. Their zeal is simply unmatchable. A huge congratulations 👏🎉 to the entire Real Madrid team.

How many Champions League finals has Pep Guardiola coached? Catalan coach Pep Guardiola has reached the Champions League final on three occasions: twice with his Barcelona side, when he lifted the trophy, and one with Manchester City in 2021. In the 2020-21 season, his City side were beaten in the final by Tuchel’s Chelsea.

No football manager has lost more UCL semi-finals than Pep Guardiola

The Manchester City boss, formerly of Bayern Munich and Barcelona, has built some fantastic teams, but often falls short when it matters most in Europe.

OptaJoe stats say Pep Guardiola has now suffered six eliminations at the semi-final stage of the UEFA Champions League (also 2009-10 and 2011-12 with Barcelona, 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 with Bayern Munich); the joint-most of any manager, along with José Mourinho. Crushing. Bald fraud!

Who’s gonna win the Ballon d’Or this year? 🏅 Karim Benzema.
…and who’s gonna win the Champions League? 🏆 Madrid or Liverpool.

Karim Benzema: 𝐮𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞
▫️ 43 goals in 43 official games this season.
▫️ 15 goals in 11 Champions League games.
▫️ 43 goals in 3665 minutes this season.
▫️ Equalled Cristiano’s record of scoring the most knockout goals (10) in a single UCL season.

The amount of times real Madrid have come back down to win in the uefa champions league goes to show that they have a lot of heart and sheer determination.

Rodrygo for World Best Twice in the finals, he has saved Real Madrid. First time was in the return leg against Chelsea, in the quarter finals where he capitalized on a beautiful Modric cross into the box, to pull Madrid back in the game and took that match to extra time. Then the spectacle we witnessed was 2 goals in 1 minute (90-91 minute) by the same young man! Baby GOAT vibes.

Pep’s respect for Klopp isn’t for nothing. Champions League is not played with form or quality alone But Character.
Madrid was chilling, celebrating la Liga win while City was training, yet Madrid carried the day. City and PSG have quality but can never win CL unless they develop the Character for it. Villarreal had that Character, but Liverpool is a giant in dying stages of Champions League.

Real Madrid Send Champions League Message to Erik ten Hag Man Utd

Quadruple dreams turn to beans as Real Madrid Send Champions League Message to Erik ten Hag Man Utd; Liverpool is not as strong as we thought.

Honestly, this no.14 UCL trophy has to be one of the best champions League titles for Real Madrid. knocking out all the best elite teams. Well done to them for their 14th UCL title

As much as Liverpool were great offensively, sometimes it takes experience to control a game. Once Madrid scored, I just said to myself: “no way Liverpool is scoring an equaliser”, but what a performance by Cortouis!

I’m a die hard Man U fan but have to give props to Madrid!! Winning this trophy is just in their DNA. 👏🏽 Logic doesn’t work when it comes to them, the belief just overrides everything including their frailties!

I just wonder how I will explain this to my kids about that my unforgettable moments in the 2021/ 2022 champions league season when  Madrid beat Man Utd bitter rivals Liverpool in the final.

Real Madrid Send Champions League Message to Erik ten Hag Man Utd

Carlo Ancelotti beat the best team in Ligue 1 and the top 3 EPL teams (Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool) to claim Madrid’s 14th UCL title.
Well deserved.
Hala Madrid! ✌🏽

I’ve followed the Champions league every season from 2000 to date….the path that Real Madrid took to win this year’s final is probably the toughest route ever taken by any finals winning team….remarkable indeed👏👏👏👏

What a final ! Real Madrid played to their strengths and it worked fabulously thanks to the brilliant shift by their keeper and the defence. Liverpool should have played to their strength and started Firmino. He would have gotten Mane and Salah more into the game, anytime either one of them got the ball they were under pressure and had to pass back. Firmino would have found the creativity to beat the press with just a simple flick. Even Klopp has admitted that their mistake was Not playing within the formation. Who’s better to play within the spaces. Firmino

It was as an amazing night for both Madrid and Manchester United fans. Before the game, Salah was so confident and he even gave interviews saying” if i was not injured in the 2018 final with Madrid, Liverpool could have won the trophy” And i was like: ok, so no Segio Ramos today, so you are going to get to play the full game. he was acting like he was going to avenge something for liverpool then what what happened next was BOOM, Los Blancos took it again.🤣😂 they thoght they were going to win both the English premier league and the UCL; Man city made sure they were not going to get the EPL and Ancelotti also made sure No UCL for Jurgen. Did u see KloPp’s face when Vinicius Jr scored the goal? he knEw his men were not going to get the equaliser anyway .

this will humble some proud players; congratulations to Madrid What a game.

Speculation over Mane’s future continues to swirl as Manchester United – and plenty of other Premier League sides for that matter – pray that his potential departure could offer them some respite over the next few years. A season of misery for United fans could be compounded even further as Liverpool prepare to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday night.

While the sight of their bitter rivals challenging for major honours is a bitter pill to swallow for United fans, Jurgen Klopp’s glittering reign on Merseyside can at least offer United a degree of hope moving forward.

Donny van de Beek Erik Ten Hag Reunion to Propel Man Utd to Champions League Glory

van de beek Erik Ten Hag Reunion to Propel Man Utd to Champions League Glory

The beginning of a winning era: Donny van de Beek Erik Ten Hag Reunion to Propel Man Utd to Champions League Glory.

Mind you, if big flops like Harry Maguire all become superstars under ten Hag’s reign; anything can happen. Give him a few seasons and Pep Guardiola protege ten Hag could earn up lifting the ultimate European silverware.

Is Manchester United still in the Champions League? Sky Sports Gary Neville called Manchester United’s Champions League exit to Atletico Madrid “miserable” but said it was no surprise they were knocked out by the Spanish Atleti side and criticised the home team’s approach at Old Trafford.

How Donny van de Beek Erik Ten Hag Reunion Could Propel Man Utd to Champions League Glory

Donny van de Beek has been tipped to shine again. When Ten Hag was confirmed to be United’s next manager, we doubt anyone was happier to hear that news than Van de Beek.

Van de beek spent two-and-a-half years working under Ten Hag at Ajax and his impressive performances saw him become a Ballon d’Or nominee in 2019.

He then completed a £36million move to United in 2020 but started just four Premier League games during his first 18 months at Old Trafford and is currently on loan at Everton.

“Take Donny. I find that hard, a mortal sin,” Ten Hag told De Volkskrant in December 2021. “If you haven’t had a chance yet, then development will also stall.”

The 25-year-old will now be hoping to rediscover his Ajax form under Ten Hag and finally kick-start his career as a United player.

He’ll also have the opportunity to fill the void left by Paul Pogba, who looks set to leave United when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Is Manchester United qualified for Champions League?

Manchester United have been knocked out of the Champions League following a 2-1 aggregate defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid – a result that hands Arsenal a major top-four boost in the process.

Ten Hag’s plan for Marcus Rashford

Man Utd players like Rashford play with very little proper anticipation of what their teammates are doing! There’s no unity with the players, to each other, plus they do not have an “attack” mentality as in the old days. And why are they always “cramped” when in control of the ball? They need to spread the defenses, not invite them in!!! Yeah, even more than this! Best wishes to our new Gaffer!

When Rashford burst onto the scene and netted twice on his United debut at the age of 18, he had the world at his feet and was regarded as the next big thing.

But six years later, Rashford’s career has stalled, and he has scored just five goals in all competitions in 2021-22.

The England international has struggled for opportunities under interim manager Ralf Rangnick and has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford but is reportedly looking forward to working with Ten Hag.

During his time at Ajax, Ten Hag has shown a preference for inverted wingers who can cut inside and the likes of Antony, Hakim Ziyech and Dusan Tadic have all thrived under him.

“Every player under his guidance becomes a better footballer through his training,” Antony told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. “Since my arrival, he has given me a lot of confidence and believed in what I can do.

“I am grateful to him for that. I respect him very much.”

Rashford will be hoping to make similar progress under Ten Hag and get his United career back on track.

Real Madrid Beats Man City Guardiola 3-1 to Reach Champions League Final with Liverpool

What a comeback! Real Madrid Beats Man City Guardiola 3-1 to Reach Champions League Final with Liverpool

FT: Real Madrid 3-1 Man City (6-5 on agg)

Another Champions League game for the ages, but this one so intimately influenced by the weight of history.

Real Madrid Beats Man City Guardiola 3-1 to Reach Champions League Final with Liverpool

1 Real Madrid have reached their 17th European Cup/Champions League final, six
more than any other team. It’s their first since 2018, when they won 3-1 vs
Liverpool.
2 There were 11 goals across the two legs of this tie (Real Madrid 6-5 Man City), the
second-most of any two-legged semi-final tie in UEFA Champions League history,
behind only Liverpool 7-6 Roma in 2017-18.
3 Man City boss Pep Guardiola has now suffered six eliminations at the semi-final
stage of the UEFA Champions League (also 2009-10 and 2011-12 with Barcelona,
2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 with Bayern Munich), the joint-most of any manager
along with José Mourinho.

Real Madrid are through to the Champions League final after producing one of the most
dramatic comebacks in the history of the competition, defeating Manchester City 3-1 on
the night and 6-5 on aggregate. City were seemingly on their way to the final to face
Liverpool after Riyad Mahrez had fired them in front with a stunning strike.

Rodrygo then turned the tie on its head in the 90th minute, first with a close-range finish to give Madrid
hope. He then rose highest in the box to plant a header away from Ederson to level the tie
one minute later to send the contest into extra-time.

Karim Benzema then came to the fore to score the decisive goal by winning and then converting a penalty after being fouled by Ruben Dias. City were unable to fire back, allowing Carlo Ancelotti and his team to win by aggregate 6-5.

Madrid beats Man city in UCL semifinal

Real Madrid believed they could do the impossible. Manchester City feared the inevitable. That is only way to explain another incredible night in this competition. It’s the only way to read yet another spectacular Madrid comeback, and another cataclysmic Pep Guardiola collapse.

It all built up to this astonishing tie’s climax, infusing it with even more emotion. The faces at the end said so much, and more than the details.

Those details are that Carlo Ancelotti’s side came back from 1-0 down in the 90th minute to win 3-1, and make it 6-5 on aggregate, as well as reach a 17th Champions League final for the club. They will now be looking to ensure a record 13 becomes a remarkable 14, and stop Liverpool winning a seventh.

Ten minutes that will live for eternity. And they will haunt Manchester City and Pep Guardiola for ever. They were so desperately close to the Champions League final and yet their world collapsed. Whatever they go on to achieve, this will stay with them as Real Madrid, the miracle men of Madrid, made it through to face Liverpool in Paris.

It was Karim Benzema, of course, who scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot in an extra time that no one saw coming and he now has 43 goals in 43 games this season, with 15 of those in 11 Champions League games. That is phenomenal, but then so was this outcome with City having appeared to manage the game superbly to kill off Real. That, as Paris St-Germain and Chelsea found out, is impossible. Liverpool be warned as Real scored in the 90th, the 92nd (during five minutes of added time) and the 95th minute, when the extra 30 were played.

As the players gathered for the start of that period, Guardiola was gesturing manically, clearly furious. Real coach Carlo Ancelotti? He was strolling around his players. It added to this extraordinary drama.
