WHAT HAPPENED? According to Goal, The Blancos found themselves trailing at the Mestalla when Vinicius was subjected to more discriminatory comments and actions from the stands. The Brazilian identified those responsible, leading to the game being paused for several minutes as those in the crowd were warned that the game would be suspended if they did not change their behaviour. The match did continue, but Vinicius was then shown a red card in stoppage time following an unsightly melee that saw him slap an arm into the face of Hugo Duro, with Real eventually losing 1-0.

Vinicius Jr Blasts Laliga Chiefs Over Racism Inaction
Vinicius receives more punishment for identifying racism and suffering it than the clubs who do it. That Georgian goalkeeper who strangles Vini is just….out of control. How is that man not suspended for 10 matches?? Embarrassing. They try to silence and stomp out young black men who won’t stand for it anymore.
I stand with Vini, as a die hard Man U fan.
“If an entire stadium is chanting ‘monkey’ then the game has to be stopped” manager Carlo Ancelotti said after the match
Vini Jr vs Rashford: Who is better
Vinicius Jr is right. I’ve been watching La Liga for 2 decades now and for many years monkey chants & throwing bananas onto the pitch in Spain has almost been normalized and shoved under a rug whenever people question it. Ask Ashley Cole & Shaun Wright Phillips what they experienced when they played for England against Spain some 19 years ago in Spain. Ask Eto’o or Dani Alves what they experienced whilst playing for Barcelona at away stadiums. The audacity of some of the top officials in Spanish football denying that it exists is mind boggling! What I like about England is that they take action against such behaviour. Can’t say the same about Spain unfortunately.
Vinicius Jr vs Mbappe vs Haaland who is better?
When you think about it, it’s really insane. To have one person racially abuse someone is an awful thing, but to have hordes of brainless idiots racially abusing a person, all at the same time is just sickening. Something like that is bound to affect a person’s wellbeing. I don’t care how wealthy the guy is. When it’s all said and done, and he’s looking back on his career, it will be these moments that stand out. He will be plagued with those memories. I feel for the guy. It’s so unfair.
Vinicius’ Real teammates got involved which further heightened tensions and Valencia’s Hugo Duro, who had only been substituted on in the 90’+1 minute physically clashed with the Brazilian star.
Referee Ricardo de Burgos struggled to control the late flashpoint and Vinicius was sent off as cards flew late into added time.
The UEFA 2022 Champions League winner also taunted Valencia fans putting up two figures to reference their potential relegation to the Spanish second tier.
It is not the first time Vinicius has been targeted with racial abuse with an increasing number of episodes this season, including Real’s bitter rivals Atletico Madrid.
As per LaLiga president: this season, eight out of nine racist insults were against Vini. The implication here: why this guy is always the trouble-maker. My only question: what actions have been taken after the eight insults against Vini? Shame on you, Mr. Javier Tebas!
Edinson Cavani Banned and Fined £100k for Racist Instagram Post
Jose Gonzalez
Honestly, the more I let it sink in, this entire season and what this young man had to deal with. The lengths he fought for his club and took them to every championship possible in 18 months. The more I realize just how disgusting this entire situation has reached. I’ll keep supporting Real but in the only league they even care about, the UCL, but outside of that, I’m not even going to bother watch La Liga. No more subscriptions to streaming companies and no more summer tour tickets.
This is going to also affect summer transfers. Why would Jude want to come play in Spain when this is happening to who many say is the best player today? You’ll see how La Liga will respond when the money is affected. Whether those responses be genuine or self serving is another topic. But why would a 19 year old bi-racial young man want to LIVE in a country that has normalized these racist acts. They seem to see it as, simply locker room talk. Like, its ok because it’s just passionate fans.

İlkay Gündoğan Gives Man Utd Premier League Title Boost
Manchester City miss İlkay Gündoğan’s leadership as İlkay Gündoğan gives Man Utd Premier League Title Boost
Gündoğan being set to leave Manchester City for Barcelona and Mateo Kovacic leaving Chelsea to join Pep Guardiola’s side in their hopes of repeating the treble.
For the second year running, Manchester City’s captain has left the club. It happened twice in the previous three seasons, and others have used a dwindling contract to leave on a free transfer.
United or Arsenal: Who CAN win the Premier League title first?
City like to play ahead, tying down key players to long-term contracts wherever possible. That isn’t possible for some players though, especially the older ones in the squad, who may want to keep their options open with one final big contract in mind.
As for Barcelona, they’re getting a player who’s currently in his peak even though he’s 32 years old, but in recent seasons, Ilkay Gundogan has played the best football of his career for Manchester City and he’s going into a Barcelona midfield that’s already world class and many can question his role whether he starts or comes off the bench, but surely he has to get into that team.
He’s a player who is technical and has shown his goalscoring prowess he adds something different to this Barcelona team from midfield, and the likes of Pedri and Gavi are undroppable and you boast Frenkie De Jong as well, they might look for a Sergio Busquets replacement because Ilkay Gundogan is playing further forward whether he starts or not and that’s his best role for Barcelona.
They’re getting not just a quality player, but someone who has loads of experience at the highest level, and is a leader and in this young team, Barcelona need veterans like him and serial winners too. Loss for Manchester City, but a big gain for Barcelona and there can be people questioning whether it was necessary for them to sign Ilkay Gundogan but given the form he’s in, he’s a player who’ll fit right in at Barcelona.
Manchester City Wins Premier League title for 3rd straight season
Ilkay Gundogan leaving Manchester City for Barcelona is a shock to many, but it’s been expected for months.
Yes, they just won the treble and he was so so crucial to that team but he’s 32 years old, has won everything there is to win at Manchester City and when Barcelona come calling, I don’t blame him for turning them down and they’ll miss him big time. Mateo Kovacic is an excellent midfielder who on his day is really good, but SportsFila.com is not convinced with his consistency.
During his time at Real Madrid, he wasn’t bad but was a sporadic player there, and not his fault because Toni Kroos Luka Modric and Casemiro were in their peaks, at Chelsea he’s gotten more game time and has had great moments there but is very injury prone and can be average at times and he was often in and out of the starting lineup. In my opinion, Mateo Kovacic is a big downgrade on Ilkay Gundogan but with his box to box qualities and the energy he brings to a midfield, Manchester City will sort things out with him and see what he offers in their team
Manchester City to repeat another treble next season?
Gundogan will be a huge miss at City. He is result drivenand his football intelligence is amazing, very similar to Steven Gerard’s. He’s a match winner and a leader every manager can rely on. He singlehandedly stopped the 2021/22 PL title from going to Anfield. No Liverpool fan would forget this guy in a hurry. A player whose later football years are ironically far better than his prime. What a player. Barca are lucky to have him.

Toni Kroos mocks Eden Hazard after Jude Bellingham Deal
All Kroos said about Hazard was that big money doesn’t always mean big success, simple. It’s not necessarily a warning shot to Bellingham. I think Toni it’s only trying to slam Hazard as fans feel he was too lazy at Madrid.
Madrid terminates Hazard contract: Should United Sign Him?
Just a typical ego attitude, Toni is just letting him know what’s expected of him. Both Kroos and Modric are perfectionists and they expect that from everyone. Nothing wrong with it.
Kroos opens up on Hazard: “I think everyone would say in retrospect: it was not a good signing
Don’t see anything wrong with what Kroos said. Look at the players who have cost in that £100m range. There is a lot of flops there. Few if any have been outright successes. And by outright I mean a player being a success from both individual and team level.
ESpn pundit Craig Burley might call Kroos naive but the only one naive here is Craig. Jude isn’t the only young player to have made a big move for such a high price. Have we already forgotten Joao Felix and Dembele? Or even Coutinho to some extent? Like the lad but for that price tag and the jersey he will wear, he will be tested like he has never been tested before. And no one will care about how well he speaks, dresses or his journey from Birmingham if he stinks on the football pitch. Time will tell if he can overcome adversity because he will face it now. He might be subbed or benched for poor performances. Sections of the media will attack his performances. His reaction to situations like that will really show us what he is made off.
Jude Bellingham, given what we’ve seen at Dortmund and England, he put in consistent performances for club and country, he’s reaching that next step in becoming a global superstar and he is one given what’s he achieved individually at such a young age, and more of the same is expected of him at Real Madrid and due to the money they paid for him, it’s a lot of pressure, he won’t let that get to his head hopefully because he’s so so talented and I hope he succeeds there because he has all the tools required for Real Madrid, they did their homework on him, he’s a hard worker, gives it his all, he’s there to fight for the badge and he’s there for passion and not money/big salaries/paycheck it’s all about your career.
Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho Are the Biggest La Liga Flops
Toni Kroos appears to aim dig at Eden Hazard for Real Madrid in warning to Jude Bellingham
Eden was arguably one of the best players in world football at the time, but various injuries blighted his Real Madrid career.
Hazard scored just seven goals in four seasons for the club and has now left the club a year before his deal was due to expire, SportsFila.com early reported on the Belgian flop’s exit.
On Wednesday it was announced the Jude Bellingham has signed for Madrid in a deal that could rise to £115million.
The 19-year-old has shined early on in his career so far and is expected to elevate his game even further.
This is what Madrid is about the way Kroos thinks. You can’t come here and settle in thinking you have won your spot. You earn it and you have to work hard for it. Hazard thought he would do the same as he did with Chelsea. He was doing okay in the beginning but Vini worked hard and took Hazard out for good. Hazard didn’t want to fight for that position and improve and Vini did so that’s what he means. You need to have heart to play for Madrid. That’s why these commentators don’t know what it is to be a Madridista and never giving up. That’s why we have some of the most legendary comebacks.
Eden Hazard is Gareth Bale Version 2.0 Pro Max? Madrid Confirms Huge Problem
Kroos thought Benzema would retire at Madrid
Benzema: “These decisions depend on yourself. There are also circumstances that contribute to a decision. I think he came to Real when he was 20 or 21 years old. What he gave the club, the important goals he scored… last year was just the icing on the cake. There have been few forwards in the last 15 years who have used the ball like him, who have not limited themselves just to scoring. It was a great pleasure playing with him. There’s no doubt. Seeing a player like that for so many years was a joy.”
PlanetJohn: “Eden hazard was a huge disappointment, had he been only 85% of the player he was in Chelsea while with Madrid the team could have really performed better, probably would have won another la liga in his tenure for sure. I’m excited for Jude Bellingham”.

Jude Bellingham Unveiled As New Real Madrid Player
Jude Bellingham has been officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player, SportsFila confirms from Laliga sources. #RealMadrid #Bellingham #JudeBellingham
Shame that Man Utd couldn’t get him but glad that he chose Madrid over other PL clubs. Being a 19 yr old and speaking with such maturity after joining a club as big as Real Madrid speak volumes of him
Jude is so mature for someone who’s only 19 years old. No doubt he’ll be a success at Real Madrid and playing alongside players like Modric and Kroos will definitely help him as well.
Zidane was thought to be one of the main reasons that Bellingham elected to join Real Madrid instead of accepting other offers he had, including from his home country of England.
Benzema Leaves Real Madrid
Martin Davies: Zidane 5 = no pressure then! Super young guy, I’m proud that he’s British and proud that this club wanted him so badly. They are very fortunate to get him, to have his footballing prowess, his youth and his personality playing for them. Great things ahead for this lad for many years, congratulations Jude and family.
Club Statement: Bellingham is a new Real Madrid player
The 19-year-old English midfielder was named the best player in the Bundesliga.
Jude Bellingham (Stourbridge, 29/06/2003) is a new Real Madrid player. One of the biggest talents in world football, a midfielder who joins our club from Borussia Dortmund and arrives at Madrid after being voted the best player in the Bundesliga 2022/23. The 19-year-old is already a regular starter in the England national team.
Bellingham joins Carlo Ancelotti‘s squad after three seasons in Germany. In the most recent of these, he recorded his best campaign for Borussia Dortmund in terms of goals (14 goals in all competitions). He scored on his debut for the German side in September 2020 and became the youngest player to score in the club’s history (17 years and 77 days). That season he started the match that Borussia Dortmund won in the German Cup final.
Moving to Dortmund was the best thing he’s ever done imagine if he didn’t leave Birmingham I doubt he wouldn’t of played at the world cup or appear for Madrid.
Real Madrid Give Man Utd Harry Kane Boost
The most talented player he is already so good and matured at the age of 19 got a great future Ahead of him.
The French legend also sat with Bellingham and his father and agent, Mark, during the 2022 Champions League final, watching as Los Blancos defeated Liverpool.
While he was presented, President Florentino Perez congratulated him for achieving his dream, and praised his capacity for overcoming adversity during his welcome speech. He finished that speech in English with the words ‘Thank you for coming, and welcome home’.
Jude Bellingham will wear the number 5 shirt at Real Madrid, SportsFila reports.
His idol was the great Zinedine Zidane.
— Football España (@footballespana_) June 15, 2023
Bellingham started his in Spanish, saying ‘Hello to everyone, hello to the Madridistas’, before continuing on in English. He called it the most important day of his life.
Bellingham is Real Madrid’s second-most expensive signing ever at €103m, and could become their most expensive depending on what variables are fulfilled – only Eden Hazard’s €115m move sits above him.
