Why Leo Messi is the Goat Ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo

Why leo messi is the goat ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo

Pride goes before a fall. This is Why Leo Messi is the goat ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo. CR7 has incurred the wrath of over 50% Manchester United fans with many supporters switching sides and voicing their support for his arch-rival Lionel Messi, the original god of football, and the Greatest player of all time.

As a neutral, I have to say that Messi is the best I’ve ever seen and I seriously doubt there will ever be anyone like him. Cristiano is amazing like Brazilian striker R9 and he has achieved so much but there’s something about Messi that’s unexplainable. The way Messi is always in complete control and what he is able to do with the ball is just out of this world. I honestly believe if Messi was concerned with his numbers only he would have had unreachable numbers. Lionel Messi plays for the team that’s why he’s the best“, Sweet Mary remarked on the goat debate.

Messi is just an All Rounder. He is the most complete player. A playmaker and goal scorer. If the team struggles to get the ball to the enemy goal, Messi can do it. He is a perfect passer and has vision of the whole field. This is why he is the best player in the history of football. Ronaldo is also a good goal scorer. But as I mentioned above, Ronaldo is not and Allrounder.” Hakan Alkan explains why Messi is better than CR7.

From his much-maligned form on the international stage and in the World Cup, to the three genuine contenders for his title of the Greatest of All Time (GOAT), SportsFila shares 6 reasons for considering Barcelona and Argentina legend Lionel Messi to be the best footballer in the history of the game head of Man Utd troublemaker Ronaldo.

Here Are 6 Reasons Why Lionel Messi is the GOAT Ahead of CR7 Cristiano Ronaldo

1. Leo Messi is completely unique

99.98% of players can only master 1 skill, be it goal scoring, passing, dribbling, playmaking , freekick.

But there is one man who is a master of all…..King Messi

It’s not about those 700+ Career Goals Messi scored…….. It’s about how he plays the game, how he passes, controls, Vision, how he makes the ball a part of his own Body…….that is the thing which makes him great.

2. Lionel Messi is naturally more talented than Cristiano Ronaldo

When you watch Messi play, it makes you light up with joy in a way that you can’t explain and in a way that doesn’t happen when you watch Ronaldo usually. When you watch Ronaldo , you will surely see an exemplary athlete and a fantastic player but when you watch Messi, it’s like a performance or a magic show. It’s a feeling one can only get with a few other modern day athletes and that is what truly defines greatness.

3. Ronaldo has 5 Ballon d’Ors while Messi has won a record 7 Golden Balls

With 7 Ballon d’Or awards to his name, Messi is quite comfortably the best player in the world right now, and for me he is the GOAT as well. He does things which just makes you wonder. Ronaldo is a fantastic athlete who is a role model that shows you can be at the top with hard work, but Messi is.

Anyone who understands football knows that Messi is the GOAT. He has the goal scoring ability of both Ronaldos, Gerd Muller and Pele. He has the dribbling ability of Maradona. He has the vision of Zidane and Ronaldinho. He creates more chances than renowned world’s best midfielders like De Bryne, Modric, Kroos etc. He’s now scoring free kicks for fun like Juninho. He’s the most complete player to ever grace the game. This is total no brainer.. just something that we have to enjoy as there may never be a talent like him again.

4. Messi is more humble, selfless, and and respectful than Cristiano Ronaldo

I used to be a die-hard Ronaldo fan but his extreme pride and arrogance really changed my opinion about who the goat is. Cristiano is a great footballer but he is not a team player like Leo Messi. Apart from being goal scorers, put both of them in Midfield and Messi wins by a mile. With his vision, playmaking and passing skills. He is a winger, Forward and a midfielder. Now after winning a Copa America (Messi was the top scorer and player of the Tournament) with Argentina and getting his 7th Ballon d’or ,there is not even any debate to have ,

Messi IS The G.O.A.T🐐 CR7 is too controversial and egoistical.

Why Leo Messi is the goat ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo

The ability to unite other players and improve them makes a superstar a Goat; self-centered Cristiano Ronaldo clearly lacks the spirit of humility and unity.

The argument against him can be made as specific to position. A lot of what Messi does incredibly well is supplementary and even takes away from the roles of people who’re playing with him forcing them to adapt. The best players make those around them better and there are a few footballers who you could argue became worse alongside him simply because of what he takes away from them.

That’s a small disparagement but if you’re talking about the greatest ever it is relevant. Despite the lack of footage, it’s very easy to put Di Stefano up there for me. The amount of responsibility put upon one player is up with or even past Messi and managing to be involved in so many goals despite playing with Puskas is obscene.

In terms of specific positions, Pele has to be further along that line for me.

That said, when you cross reference those two and just try to figure out who the best ever is in terms of ability, I do think then Messi has to be pushed up to 1 or at least he is in the top 5 of all three of those pillars and thus he’s solidly up there with the Footie gods.

5. Playing in different leagues and countries doesn’t make Ronaldo the goat

The statement that if you play in one league your whole career then you’re not tested is ridiculous.

Maldini played in one league his whole life and is still the best defender ever. And Maldini never won an international trophy.

Playing in different leagues and countries doesn’t make Ronaldo the goat. In Italy Serie A, Cr7 divided the Juventus dressing room, moving back to man utd, he destabilized the club and ruined his fellow players with his massive ego. At Madrid, CR7 suppressed Karim Benzema and took away his shine. Ronaldo only does well in a team that plays only for him.

6. Messi is called the God of football for a good reason

Lionel Messi is for almost every football expert the greatest football of all-time: the GOAT. He has been dominating the world of football for over a decade. He is not just an unreal goalscorer and dribbler, but as well the best playmaker. Just go back to the beginning of his professional career at Barcelona and start to relive his full career with all of his magical moments. There is now a 33min tribute movie about Messi‘s glorious career at FC Barcelona. Check it out on YouTube: https://youtu.be/YuQd2m-teUc

Why Leo Messi is the goat ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo

“Messi will be the player to win the most Ballons d’Or in history. He will win five, six, seven. He is incomparable. He’s in a different league.”

– Johan Cruyff

CR7 has over 800 career goals, but we cannot compare anyone with Messi’s dribbling skills. Dribbling more than 6-7 people. My god. In fact, Messi’s successful dribble is more than CR7’s and Neymar’s. Love Messi and respect CR7’s achievements. Let’s enjoy their final years’ because players like them might not show up again.

Who is the No 1 goat in football? Messi or Ronaldo?

Sportskeeda described the #1 goat as Lionel Messi of Barca, PSG and Argentina – the record seven-time Ballon d’Or winner. His 2021 Copa America triumph cemented Lionel Messi’s place as the greatest player of all time. Thus, Lionel Messi is officially the No 1 goat in football.

iF Messi wins the Qatar World Cup in 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo will be exposed and trolled once again. According to GiveMeSport, PSG’ Lionel Messi is considered by many to be the actual ‘GOAT’ of football. The brilliant acronym, which stands for ‘greatest of all time’, has become synonymous with the former Barcelona main man and Paris Saint-Germain star as he competes with Pele, Cristiano Ronaldo and Diego Maradona to be considered the sport’s number one in soccer history.

Gareth Southgate to Manchester United Doesnt’ Make Sense

Published

There is NO REASON for Gareth Southgate to be linked with the Manchester United job

Gareth Southgate is the only person in the Universe who can turn Manchester United into Middlesbrough within no time

The English media is trying all their best to push Southgate to united, but he is championship level manager at best

The England national team is waay better than this Manu squad, and he has had 0 success ( reaching semis ain’t success). So what exactly are people expecting if he becomes Manu boss

Absolutely no way! Why would Man U hire Southgate? That would be the worse decision in the history of the game.

ETH outwitted Klopp last weekend in one of the best and most dramatic FA cup clashes in years and I’m sorry but Southgate would not have won that game and ETH has had to deal with Ronaldo, Sancho, Greenwood and so on, he deserves more time

I have been saying this for weeks now. If United were under any other manager especially Southgate, they would be fighting for relegation right now. The problem at United is not Ten Hag but the players.

People keep saying that Ten Hag’s style of football at United is not attractive and no identity but there is so much that a manager can do if the players themselves are not good enough or not putting enough effort. Ten Hag’s Ajax were playing attractive football and he managed to get them to the SF of the CL.

Without him, look at Ajax now. And the media keep pushing their agenda to get Ten Hag sack and replace him with a much worse manager like Southgate. If Ten Hag is managing England right now, with the players they have, we won’t see such a passive football like we saw yesterday vs Brazil. Ask Liverpool fans, would they replace Klopp with Southgate? I rest my case.

Liverpool blame themselves for FA Cup loss to Man United

Liverpool only have themselves to blame for loss to Manchester United. Had to find a way to squeeze in the random Bruno slag off in between. Dude was dead on his feet at full time, and had to slot in to center back for the last 30 minutes.

SportsFila reflect on Manchester United’s 4-3 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup Quarterfinals and look ahead to the semifinals where Erik ten Hag’s side will take on Coventry.

How come everybody seems to have forgotten that 2 of LFC’s goals were pure luck?

More shots, same shots on goal, higher goal expectancy. What is this narrative that Liverpool should have put this game away, if anything we should’ve put this game away! They had a good 20, 25 minute stint where they kept the ball in the second half, but did nothing with it, we deservedly won this game.

For Liverpool fans: don’t say that we lost to Manchester United because Jota Trent Alisson and jones didn’t play. We have to stop doing that every time a team loses a big game it’s very stupid because had you won, you wouldn’t be saying that. Don’t forget that when y’all drew 0-0 to them at home Trent Alisson and Jones started. Keep in mind how well they’ve been playing despite having lots of injuries they almost beat Manchester City’s full strength squad last week.

Also, you lose to Manchester United, 2 fringe players for them decided the game for them, Liverpool didn’t play well and a loss is a loss you have to accept it otherwise you’re a sole loser and are unwilling to take it.

It’s interesting how nothing much is said about the mistakes made by Liverpool, but all criticism is piled on Bruno; how supposedly poor he was.

Ten Hag Says Man United Are on Track

Published

on

Ten Hag claims United is moving in the right direction 👀 WHAT DIRECTION IS THAT?!

Every time he speaks after a dismal performance after the match I always sit there saying to myself “What on Earth are you talking about”.

The media trying so hard to get ETH sacked…..when liverpool had bad injuries with VVD out, y’all didnt have the same energy

Most fans want ETH out because of his poor tactics and substitutions. I also felt he should be braver to drop non-performing players irrespective of names, and even play academy players if he has to.

Now I’m ETH in because I realise from Rooney’s and Ole’s recent interviews that the mentality of these players are incredibly low and it’s no longer just speculation that the players can’t cope on this stage.

I can understand ETH saying positive things and coming off as “crazy” but if you have players who are weak minded and aren’t willing to fight, you can’t be tough cos they’ll cave and where does that leave you for the rest of the season?! Jason Sancho case in point. I rather come across as insane to the media but hope that I’m lifting the team enough to get a string of performances to save my job and give the fans at least something to cheer about until I can have a summer clear out.

Keane is a freaking legend but that approach with these weak players will kill them and ETH would lose the dressing room.

This man keeps dropping off bombs on and off the field..A gift that keeps on giving..Most delulu man on this green earth
What a GIFT! Hand him a 15 years contract and 5 years add ons

The problem for Utd in recruiting an elite manager in the Summer is that Liverpool, Bayern and Barca will also be looking for new managers.

From the moment I heard “A new era begins. .” from ETH. I knew it was the joke of the century. He has the guts to say it while Klopp/Guardiola are competing against each other by 1 point in the Primer league he acted like he can compete with them ro
