Cafu, one of the greatest right-backs to ever grace the pitch, has thrown down the gauntlet for Carlo Ancelotti regarding the Brazilian national team. As we gear up for the Laureus Awards, which takes place again in the vibrant city of Madrid, the former Brazilian star weighed in on Ancelotti’s future as the coach of Real Madrid.
Cafu’s Call for Ancelotti
We hope you can make up your mind. If you come to Brazil, you will be welcome
The Ancelotti Dilemma
“We are just like you. We don’t know if he’s coming, if he’s going, if he’s staying at Real Madrid. It’s a big question mark whether the coach is going to step into the Brazilian national team. He is a brilliant tactician, loved by all, a champion wherever he goes. We hope he can make a decision. If he heads to Brazil, welcome aboard, mister!,” Cafu shared with enthusiasm.
Memories of Milan
Ancelotti previously coached Cafu during a successful stint at AC Milan that spanned five unforgettable years. “I had the chance to work alongside him for five incredible seasons at AC Milan; they were five fantastic years,” reminisced Cafu, evoking nostalgia for their legendary collaboration.
