Every Monday, the NBA doles out accolades to the standout players from each conference, and this week’s honorees are none other than Luka Dončić and Tyler Herro!
Dončić Dazzles in Dallas
After a brief absence in late November, Luka Dončić returned with a vengeance, proving that the Mavericks could hold down the fort in his absence. Since Dončić’s comeback, the Mavs have not dropped a single game, and the Slovenian superstar is playing at an MVP level. Averaging an impressive 29.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists—while shooting 46% from the field and 44% from beyond the arc—Dončić has also racked up two triple-doubles in just one week. Dallas has claimed victories over Memphis, Washington, and Toronto, solidifying their place in the Western Conference’s top four.

Herro’s Heroics Ignite Miami
On the other side of the court, Miami’s Tyler Herro is lighting it up, earning him his own accolades this week. The Heat guard has been on fire, averaging 25.3 points, 6 rebounds, and 5.5 assists over the last seven days. His stellar play has sparked the entire Miami squad, leading to three consecutive wins against the Lakers, Suns, and a big performance against the Cavs on Sunday night, where he scored 34 points. Thanks to Herro’s impressive run, the Heat have now cracked the top five in the Eastern Conference!
