Sacked Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Reportedly Prepares for Man Utd Second-Coming. The 48-year-old Norwegian may have been sacked over bad performances but he keeps close contact with Man Utd board and staff.
According to the Mirror, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly sent Manchester United staff members festive gifts. His unwavering act of kindness is set to keep him in the loop of future management positions at the club.
And even though he no longer has a place at Carrington, Solskjaer upheld his strong bond with former colleagues with festive gifts, according to the Daily Mail .
The report claims staff members were moved to discover the former striker had sent numerous luxury Christmas hampers to the training ground.
Solskjaer spoke of his close relationship with United’s workforce during his emotional farewell interview in which he said: “I made great friends, I have reconnected with some great friends and new staff coming in.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked by Manchester United after a dismal run in the Premier League, but he maintained a strong bond with club staff even when results were poor.
Despite United’s poor form towards the end of his tenure, Solskjaer continued to be held in high regard by staff for the way he conducted himself on a day-to-day basis as well as his heroics in a Red Devils shirt.
Rangnick gegenpresing philosophy
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s replacement, Ralf Rangnick, has brought about an upturn in form, but the German’s long-term future at the club remains a serious doubt. Some United fans are not impressed with Rangnick’s tactics, despite his narrow 1-0 victories.
Michael Carrick arrested United’s slide by leading them to a draw with Chelsea before victories over Villarreal and Arsenal. Rangnick was then unveiled as interim manager until the end of the season and he has had a promising start to life at Old Trafford.
The German masterminded back-to-back 1-0 victories in the Premier League over Crystal Palace and Norwich, while an entirely-rotated side drew 1-1 with Young Boys last week, followed by abysmal performances against Newcastle and Wolves.
This run of form has put United’s push for Champions League qualification back on track and they find themselves in danger.
Paul Ince has denied Manchester United are making progress under interim manager Ralf Rangnick after noticing a key similarity between his reign so far and that of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rangnick suffered his first defeat as Man Utd interim boss on Monday evening. They lost 1-0 to Wolves due to a goal from Joao Moutinho. It means United are still yet to win back-to-back games with Rangnick on the touchline.
Ralf was brought in to change things up after similar inconsistency under predecessor Solskjaer. Although only in charge until the end of the season, some initially predicted Rangnick could take the reins full time.
But there is a long way to go until such a decision would be made. And regardless of Rangnick’s future (he will become a consultant to the club after his interim spell), there are questions of the direction in which United are heading.

Afcon 2024 victory is well deserved for Ivory Coast they left no stone unturned and they dominated throughout. If there is a one person who deserved to win the AFCON it was Sebastian Haller. He also has done the same with Garnacho last year and this year. Then he did the same with Pellistri against Bayern Munich who in my opinion did well enough to deserve another chance. I think it’s a way for him to see how they respond to the pressure and intensity. He’s not afraid to play the youngsters ONLY if he considers them good and fearless enough.

ETH is a highly resillient manager to go through all the crisis and egos, poor performances, players personal issues and ownership drama and come out on the other side with these kind of performances. He brought in the right striker young full of potential and work ethic. Young players are starring in the squad WE ARE ON THE WAY.

Now he’s finally seeing the other side of the drawn-out “club sale, no-sale”, multiple injuries, media controversies, spoiled players, and all the other nonsense, we see the team moving into sixth position. The man deserves all the praise in the world for being so resilient.
It’s interesting hearing ten hag speaking on rashford because he mentions a lot of qualities which he possesses, however they are all physical and technical, the one thing he didn’t speak positively about was his mentality and for me this is what has always separated Rashford from the very best.
In football and sport as a whole mentality is the one thing you need more than anything, it’s what separates the good from the great and I don’t know if rashford has that real hunger and desire in him to be great. The kind of desire where you’re willing to get hurt to score a goal.
