Elanga Blasts Utd Boss and Explains Why He Signed for Forest
Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga has officially announced that he left the Old Trafford club to join Nottingham Forest.
Forest launched a £15 million bid to sign the Sweden international, who had struggled for game time under Erik ten Hag during the second half of last season.
Elanga wrote: “Making my debut, playing over 50 times for the first team, scoring in the Champions League and winning a trophy for this incredible club… If you told me that all of that would happen when I arrived in England at 11 years old I would have been buzzing.”
He continued: “From the moment that I watched a game from the Stretford End as a young boy I’ve known that United fans are special.
“We’ll always have ‘Rhythm is a dancer’. It meant the world to me and my family every time that we heard that chant. There are not enough words to properly thank you for the unbelievable support.
“It is the right time now for the perfect next step in my career. I’m someone who lives for football and I need to be on the pitch every week doing what I love.”
Big United Flop Asked to Leave Immediately
United winger Anthony Elanga has joined Nottingham Forest on a permanent basis.
The homegrown Academy product rose through the ranks at the club and earned the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award in 2020.
Anthony Elanga Slams Erik ten Hag
He made his senior debut towards the end of the 2020/21 season, in the Premier League game against Leicester City at Old Trafford. Soon afterwards, he scored his maiden goal for the first team, helping the Reds win 2-1 at Wolverhampton Wanderers on the last day of the term
Kane Ignores Man Utd As He Pushes to Join Bayern
Anthony has been a fine role model and example for other members of the Academy, and leaves with our sincere best wishes for the future, after Forest won the race for his signature, and tied him to a five-year contract.
We would like to thank him for his service at United.
The transfer is for 15m fee and we look forward to welcoming the winger back to Old Trafford, with his new team, on 26 August.

Fabrizio Romano Confirms When Greenwood Is Returning
Romano confirms Greenwood DATE as Man Utd ponder decision
Man Utd are expected to announce their decision around Mason Greenwood on August 14, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist tweeted that the club will be making their decision public – over whether to loan, keep, or let go of the striker – next month.
Mason Greenwood Breaks Silence on His Man Utd Future
It’s thought that Erik ten Hag will not be responsible for the decision and that it will be up to the club. The announcement will come before Man Utd’s opening Premier League game of the season against Wolves.
There have been a number of serious charges against Greenwood, including attempted rape and assault, which were dropped on 2 February
United’s incoming business is now largely done, and any more arrivals are likely to depend on departures.
There is interest in the likes of Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, Fred and Donny van de Beek.
Ten Hag Receives Good News About His Next Signing
If there are exits, United are understood to be ready to go into the market to replace them.
Strong interest remains in Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
Ten Hag said United’s inability to take their chances in a 2-0 friendly loss to Real Madrid on Thursday “absolutely” emphasised their need for a new striker.
United had chances of their own but failed to score with any of their 14 attempts – an all too familiar tale given their problems taking opportunities last season.
Asked if the attacking display in Texas emphasised why they were looking to sign a new striker, Ten Hag said: “Absolutely.
“There were two things – the pressing can be better from the start and scoring goals.

Hojlund Man Utd Debut Date Revealed Breaking News
SportsFila hs been told Hojlund could make his United debut in a friendly against Lens on Saturday and will be available for the start of the competitive season – just as Ten Hag wanted. The Red Devils face Wolves at Old Trafford in their opening Premier League encounter on August 14.
ETH said: Rasmus is not yet fully a United player, so I won’t say too much. Of course, we’ve got [Anthony] Martial, [Marcus] Rashford at the moment and [Jadon] Sancho, who can play there. But an out-and-out striker is what we need and we’re desperate for one. I’m very sure that the club know that, the manager knows that and us players would love one to come, too.”
Eriksen reveals secrets on Man Utd New Star Rasmus Hojland
United had been playing with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho up front during pre-season after Wout Weghorst returned to Burnley following the expiry of his six-month loan spell. Anthony Martial is the Red Devils’ only senior striker in the squad, but he has struggled with injuries over the past 12 months and hasn’t been available.
Rasmus Hojlund was only Erik ten Hag’s fifth-choice striker when it came to Man Utd transfer targets this summer.
We have learned that the Dutchman wanted Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane, Dusan Vlahovic and Ivan Toney (before he was banned), respectively, but ended up going for Hojlund.
We have also learned that the Dutchman is under a lot of pressure for this transfer to work for the club, with the club spending £72million on the youngster who is set to undergo a medical ahead of a move from Atalanta.
Sky Sports News senior reporter Melissa Reddy:
“United are conscious that Hojlund is more potential than the finished article, but believe Erik ten Hag’s coaching could help mould him into an elite player.
“Marcus Rashford may need to play some games as United’s focal point while the 20-year-old adjusts and gains experience. Long-term he is seen as a talent that has the potential to become world class under Ten Hag.
“United have now solved the three core squad issues the manager identified: a goalkeeper, forward and dynamic midfielder. This has been done within the budget the club set themselves, which was conditioned by Financial Fair Play regulations.

Ten Hag Receives Good News About His Next Signing
Fabrizio Romano has named Amrabat as Man Utd’s top next target for the holding midfield position. However, the transfer guru has insisted Man Utd must sell a player or two before they can act for Amrabat.
On that front, Fred, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek are all on the chopping block.
Fred is wanted by Fulham and Galatasaray as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia. Elsewhere, Real Sociedad have eyed Van de Beek as a replacement for the recently retired David Silva.

McTominay was courted by West Ham, though Sky Sports suggested Man Utd have priced the Hammers out of a move.
The Daily Mail reports according to SportsFila.com confirming United have already begun contacting agents over moves for a back-up goalkeeper, a depth option at centre-half and a high profile holding midfielder.
Regarding the latter, Southampton’s Romeo Lavia was cited as being on United’s radar. However, with the Belgian having already agreed personal terms with Liverpool, it’s Sofyan Amrabat who is far likely to join Man Utd
Sofyan Amrabat Manchester United interest grows large
Hojlund medical today and Amrabat says ‘yes’
The Athletic report Rasmus Hojlund will undergo his medical with Manchester United today.
The Danish striker, 20, has agreed a move to Old Trafford from Serie A club Atalanta in a deal worth €75million plus €10million in add-ons.
A five-year deal is on the table, with the option of another year.
Hojlund will become boss Erik ten Hag’s third signing of the summer following Mason Mount and Andre Onana’s moves to Manchester.

Rasmus could be quickly followed by the fourth, with Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat said to have rejected late advances from the Middle East and said ‘yes’ to the Red Devils.
Twenty-six-year-old Amrabat worked under ten Hag at FC Utrecht and at £26million looks to be a bargain signing after the Morocco star impressed at last year’s World Cup.
His arrival could see Fred leave the club, with interest from clubs in Turkey.
