“I am Not Leaving”- Man Utd Player Resists Transfer.
Harry Maguire set to stay at Man United. “Letting him go on loan, it’s like letting him go on holiday”, says Mark Goldbridge. Maguire will only go on loan IF Man U will make up his £200k+ per week wages. Then he can walk out as a free agent and grab even more money. Very lucky lad to earn his living as a Premiership footballer (euphemism for he’s a big lumbering centre half more suited to lower/non-League footie).
With Shaw and Varane out , Maguire has moved up to third centre back. Only a Martinez injury is needed to put him back in the starting eleven. But by that time he’ll probably get injured as well.
West Ham Backs Out of Maguire Transfer
The Times has now revealed that Man Utd have said no to West Ham’s ‘fresh approach’. The new stance is that Maguire will be staying at Old Trafford this summer.
Therefore, they have ‘blocked’ West Ham from signing the 30-year-old. Injury issues in their own defence are part of the decision, though it has always been maintained that they would not push the England international out of the club this year.
They won’t pay the transfer fee because they know the wage demands will be ridiculous. That’s the reason.
If he had reasonable wage demands he would be gone already.

United gave him a contract which promised him a certain amount of money over a period of time and now that it’s time to pay it, they are calling him greedy. Maguire sacrificed his career to join United yet they think it’s ludicrous he get what he was promised. Dude should just sit on the bench and wait for his England call up, play good football for them. Leave when his contract is up on a free. United fans deserve less. United fans deserve nothing.
Harry Maguire refuses to leave Man United
Manchester United have told Harry Maguire he will not be leaving the club during the transfer window barring a late change of mind by the Old Trafford hierarchy.
Erik ten Hag had recommended to United’s football director, John Murtough, that Maguire should be sold, with West Ham appearing the centre-back’s most likely destination. A £30m deal seemed close to being agreed a fortnight ago only to break down because of Maguire’s demand for a £7m payoff to make up the shortfall in salary he would have taken by accepting a reduced wage in east London.
The cost to United is the same whether he goes on loan or not: Maguire’s wages get paid and United won’t get funds or space to get a replacement. However, if he doesn’t go on loan, he won’t play much, if any, football, and the last memory anyone has of him is a disastrous CB prone to mistakes and left behind by elite football.
If he goes on loan to WHU, at least there’s a better chance Maguire gets played. This can only benefit United. If he plays poorly for them, he can’t do more to damage his value than he already has based on many disastrous performances. However, if he does well, it may convince WHU to cough up more money in January or a future window to buy Maguire, or it will help raise Maguire’s value to other clubs playing systems he is more suited to and get them to pay more the 30.
Whatever the result, United come out either the same or ahead. By contrast, I don’t see any upside for United keeping him since the “cons” of sending him on loan discussed here remain true so long as Maguire isn’t sold, and there’s no one who wants to buy him for the price United will sell him at.

Afcon 2024 victory is well deserved for Ivory Coast they left no stone unturned and they dominated throughout. If there is a one person who deserved to win the AFCON it was Sebastian Haller. He also has done the same with Garnacho last year and this year. Then he did the same with Pellistri against Bayern Munich who in my opinion did well enough to deserve another chance. I think it’s a way for him to see how they respond to the pressure and intensity. He’s not afraid to play the youngsters ONLY if he considers them good and fearless enough.

ETH is a highly resillient manager to go through all the crisis and egos, poor performances, players personal issues and ownership drama and come out on the other side with these kind of performances. He brought in the right striker young full of potential and work ethic. Young players are starring in the squad WE ARE ON THE WAY.

All the instability across the club that he’s gone through and still kept us in the Top 8. Now he’s finally seeing the other side of the drawn-out “club sale, no-sale”, multiple injuries, media controversies, spoiled players, and all the other nonsense, we see the team moving into sixth position. The man deserves all the praise in the world for being so resilient.
It’s interesting hearing ten hag speaking on rashford because he mentions a lot of qualities which he possesses, however they are all physical and technical, the one thing he didn’t speak positively about was his mentality and for me this is what has always separated Rashford from the very best.
In football and sport as a whole mentality is the one thing you need more than anything, it’s what separates the good from the great and I don’t know if rashford has that real hunger and desire in him to be great. The kind of desire where you’re willing to get hurt to score a goal.
