The timing is suspicious. With both Madrid and United obviously in the market for a striker, maybe Mbappe wants to put down a marker, so they don’t buy before they know he is on the market. Although not sure either can afford him given Madrid have just spent £100M on Bellingham, and United are still pending news on their potential sale. No one else makes any sense though – Chelsea are chaotic, don’t see any of Liverpool, Newcastle or Arsenal being able to afford him. City probably could, but arguably don’t need him, plus not sure Mbappe would like sharing the limelight with Haaland, suspect he wants to be undisputed top dog wherever he ends up at.

The Eurosport paper states: “Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to sell Kylian Mbappe to Manchester United this summer should the Qatari-backed Sheikh Jassim takeover bid at Old Trafford prove successful.
“Mbappe will not sign the one-year contract extension in his PSG contract meaning that his deal will expire in 12 months. Mirror Football understands that the French club’s priority is to ensure he does not leave without a transfer fee, meaning they are prepared to cash in on the superstar this summer.

Many people just don’t know how living in Paris makes you mad. Mbappe was such a humble player when playing for Monaco. No doubt he will recover this mentality once he leaves this toxic Parisian environment.

Real Madrid doesnt make sense at all with Vinicius now being the main man on the left, and Mbappe’s reluctance to play in the middle. Highly doubt Pep would want him at City as he would upset their already great squad balance. Chelsea is too small. No other club can really afford him.
Micah Kiyimba, however believes, Man Utd and Real Madrid are the only realistic destinations for Mbappe.

He is a 180 million-pound player who will be a free agent next season. If he goes to Man City on a free then paying him 1 million pounds a season on a 5-year deal would make sense. No transfer fee and if he leaves after 3 years Man City would still be able to get most of that money back anyway, if not all. So basically he would increase revenue in terms of kit sales and advertising as well as bring a whole new bunch of fans.

The man deserves all the praise in the world for being so resilient.
It’s interesting hearing ten hag speaking on rashford because he mentions a lot of qualities which he possesses, however they are all physical and technical, the one thing he didn’t speak positively about was his mentality and for me this is what has always separated Rashford from the very best.
In football and sport as a whole mentality is the one thing you need more than anything, it’s what separates the good from the great and I don’t know if rashford has that real hunger and desire in him to be great. The kind of desire where you’re willing to get hurt to score a goal.
