SportsFila understands Manchester United are considering using Anthony Martial in a ‘two-for-one strategy’ to sign a pair of Inter Milan stars, according to reports.
Martial is currently on loan at Sevilla until the end of the season, for whom he’s notched one goal and an assist from six La Liga games.
Laliga club Sevilla ‘will probably NOT sign Anthony Martial permanently even if they win laliga or Europa League’… as the Man United outcast looks set to return to Old Trafford this summer despite good start to life on loan in Spain.
But Inter are interested in a permanent deal for the Frenchman, whose contract at Old Trafford expires in the summer of 2024.
That’s according to InterLive (via Sport Witness), who claim Martial is an ‘old obsession’ for the Italian giants.
And the report claims a move for Martial may be part of a ‘double operation’.

It’s claimed United could use Martial to try for a ‘two-for-one strategy’ to sign striker Lautaro Martinez and centre-back Milan Skriniar.
‘It is not excluded’ that United will attempt to sign both Martinez and Skriniar this summer, and Martial ‘could easily’ be part of the ‘double operation’.
Despite his limited game time so far, Sevilla appear to have made their mind up about the striker’s future at the club already.
‘Sevilla won’t buy Martial even if they win the EuroMillions,’ a source told Football Transfers.
‘They are happy with him but they won’t sign him permanently.
‘Any further deal is not in their plans at all – just these six months to help them challenge Real Madrid for the title.’

Sevilla currently find themselves five points behind Real Madrid in the title race, although Carlo Ancelotti’s team have a game in hand.
It is understood that Martial’s wages would be an issue for Sevilla in the long-term, and this appears to have played a part in their decision.
The Spanish side currently pay all of the Frenchman’s salary, and would not be able to continue to do this moving forward unless they sold some of their star players.
Martial now looks set to return to Manchester at the end of the season, with his contract at United running until 2024.
Ralf Rangnick says Cristiano Ronaldo can be a Manchester United leader after his hat-trick in the win over Tottenham, and named him among six “engines” in his squad.

And Rangnick believes he is now beginning to resemble the player that tore the Bundesliga to pieces for the last three seasons and argued the circumstances around the end of Solskjaer’s tenure, with the team struggling, had made it difficult for him to shine.
“He is now recognisable as the Jadon Sancho I have known since he was 18,” Ragnick told the club’s website. “Yes, this has also not always been the case, if we’re honest, in the weeks and months before I came.
“Jadon Sancho is now getting closer to the Jadon Sancho I’ve known from Germany. In the end it’s all about confidence.

He’s only 20 years old. He’s learning from another two masters such as Modric and Kroos. If he continues like this the amount that Madrid had to pay for him will be consider a bargain.

Manchester United have vowed to “continue to offer its support” to Mason Greenwood after the striker sealed a loan move away from Old Trafford on deadline day.
Greenwood, 21, hasn’t played professional football since his arrest in January 2022. Charges of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm against the forward were dropped seven months ago.

Mason Greenwood Fans Blast Man Utd Club for Rejecting Talent
All charges were dropped this February but the Old Trafford outfit said Greenwood would leave the club last week.
And now La Liga club Getafe have completed a last minute season-long loan deal for Greenwood, subject to international clearance.
The Spanish club play away at Real Madrid tomorrow afternoon, although it is unlikely he will be registered in time.
Greenwood is likely to make his debut for Getafe on September 17 when they play Osasuna.
United will reportedly receive no loan fee for Greenwood and are said to be covering the majority of his wages.
The Madrid-based side will also cover a small contribution for his wages for the duration of the loan.
A United club statement read: “The move enables Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from Manchester United.
“The club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition.
