Messi Leaving Barca & Messi Transfer News: Everything You Need to Know/GettyImages

A few years ago, Leo Messi said, “I will never leave Barcelona. If I do leave, it’s not me leaving; they kicked me out”. And fast-forward to late 2020, Leo Messi transfer news shocked the world. Messi Leaving Barca follows a 4-year Champions League spell which was worsened by Barcelona vs Bayern Munich 2-8.

The embarrassing defeat weighed down on the brilliant striker, forcing him to want to leave Barcelona.

Barcelona have pretty much wrapped up a deal for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero who signed a two-year deal.

According to La Porteria, Aguero has agreed to a paycut that will see him earn an annual salary of €5 million at the Camp Nou. Aguero is also convinced that he will be playing with Lionel Messi next season as the Barcelona captain will stay on at the club.

Messi’s future remains the subject of speculation with the 33-year-old out of contract in the summer and yet to extend his deal.

There is optimism that Messi will stay on at the moment, but it seems he’s waiting to hear what Joan Laporta has planned for next season.

Messi to Manchester City transfers rumors reverberated across the soccer universe last year.

The Argentine football GOAT Lionel Messi is leaving Barca after delivering record-setting performances for the Barcelona club for nearly 20 years.

Although he wants to leave Barça, the Catalan club and La Liga insist Messi can’t leave unless his exit clause of €700 million is met.

On Sunday August 30, Messi was supposed to attend Barca’s pre-season training ground at 10 am. However, he never showed up.

Leo and his lawyers are likely to take Barcelona and La Liga to court to settle their differences.

Messi’s camp believes that his exit clause hasn’t expired yet; because the Covid-19 pandemic affected the duration of the 2019/20 season.

Messi Leaving Barca?

“Meeeesssiii Messsssiiii” Camp Nou will miss these chants 😭💔. He will be successful wherever he goes next

Eric Segerfeldt

Cried my heart out watching this, he truly is unlike anything we will ever witness again. What a privilege to be alive in a time where you could watch this man play football every 3 days for almost 20 years. The Greatest

majkel

I have goosebumps and tears are streaming into my eyes. I’m not sad because he can leave Barca, I’m touched by the history he made with this club.

I am grateful to be able to watch the greatest of all time. And that’s not over yet…

Toshiki Takahashi

I hope he returns to Barca for at least one season before he retires or transfers to a new club.  He deserves a proper send off from the Barcelona faithful.  Xavi got it.  Iniesta got it.  Messi deserves it.

Please don’t let it become like Casillas where Real Madrid just shoved him out of the door because he outlived his usefulness.  Casillas deserved more after leading Madrid for so many years and after what Messi did for Barcelona, he should get a proper sendoff.

Pep Guardiola – “Don’t write about him, don’t try to describe him, just watch him.”

Ronaldinho about Messi at his 17 years old :

“I introduce you the guy who is going to be the greatest player of all times”

First goal of Messi was assisted by Ronaldinho.

I Am Me

About Messi Leaving Barca, I was initially excited by the news. We might see Messi in another club’s shirt. However, I’m also convinced Messi’s story needs to end where it all began, and that’s at Barça – in glory.

P.s I’m not going to comment on Messi’s ability, I gave up trying to do that a long time ago. No words could ever do justice to this man’s career. Okay, enough said, I must now go and dry my eyes.

Real Madrid Fans & Players React to Messi Leaving Barca

Sa’ad Khatib

I am a huge Real Madrid and CR7 fan. But I won’t be honest with myself if I said anything other than that Messi is and always was greatness and amazing. He is unique , one of the best of all times.

Messi is a player that is always amazing to watch , always performs and scores always entertains, and wins.

I would be hypocrite if I didn’t give Messi the credit for being the best this decade and the most talented footballer of his generation, for making football famous all around the world.

When you see little children all around the world of all backgrounds in poor countries that almost have nothing wearing a Messi Barcelona shirt. This is simply one thing: Greatness!!!

Yash M

Bartomeu will always be remembered as the man who made Real Madrid the best club in la liga. He caused the Messi Leaving Barca transfer news saga.

Jack Hammond

Barcelona fans shouldn’t be sad he’s leaving, they should be grateful for what he has done. The unrivalled GOAT, not a debate and no ones even close

The following fans are crying because of Messi Leaving Barça.

Eric Segerfeldt

“Cried my heart out watching this. He truly is unlike anything we will ever witness again. What a privilege to be alive in a time where you could watch this man play football every 3 days for almost 20 years. The Greatest.

I am grateful to be able to watch the greatest of all time. And that’s not over yet…”

Graeme Kneale

“Sadly, I feel watching these past few seasons unfold the weight of being messi. And being this good is the reason for the last few years. Slump in trophies , it’s a team sport and everyone wants to put the weight and blame of any result on Messi Leaving Barca

He becomes the same for many truly talented players, I think. But it does seem the Spanish clubs tend to drop that weight on their players extra.

And sometimes even the best needs the team to step up because everyone has off days. As fans, we sometimes forget that the Messi vs Ronaldo debate is useless.”

Jude Bellingham the best player in the world right now?

Published

on

Right now yes because of the impact he has at both Real Madrid and the national team. What I like about him is that he knows there is always room to improve and I’m sure he’s gonna get even better. He’s only 20 years old. He’s learning from another two masters such as Modric and Kroos. If he continues like this the amount that Madrid had to pay for him will be consider a bargain.

No matter how many times it’s brought up, it still boggles that mind that Jude Bellingham is only 20. The latest chapter in the generational talent’s likely-to-be legendary career was dominating a 3-1 victory for England over Italy at Wembley Stadium. Bellingham was sublime throughout, with the result booking the Three Lions’ place at Euro 2024.

Why Jadon Sancho is refusing to apologise to ten Hag

If you actually watch the man (not a boy) and appreciate what he is doing it is great but it’s just the start. There’s always someone who stands out in a team. Jude exudes confidence and has a very level head. Without injuries he may end up being one of the most decorated English players ever. It’s just a shame that Real Madrid got him rather than Liverpool. Haha!

Sancho Pushes Man Utd to Sign Jude Bellingham in Summer

Yeah right now, hes the best player in the world. A 20 year old playing like a 30 year old vet. Creates chances, scores goals, team player, passes well, great awareness, ball skills are on point.. everything.

Toni Kroos mocks Eden Hazard after Jude Bellingham Deal

At the moment Mbappe is the best and if he moves to Real Madrid you will see him establish that no.1 position for, at least, the next few years. I also think Mbappe will take centre stage at Madrid which always helps at these sorts of clubs when it comes to the ballon d’or. Jude’s time will come but not just yet.

Arguments for Guirassy at Stuttgart and Sané at Bayern being the only players more in form than Bellingham at the moment. As for best in world, it is still hard to look past Mbappé.

Jude Bellingham Unveiled As New Real Madrid Player

That’s what English pundits and media like to do. Hype their players who are in form as if they are the next Messi or Ronaldo. No doubt Jude has immense talent, and potential to be an all-time great, but how many young players were called that. He probably is in the best form, but not even 1/3 of the season is over and he is the best player already? Come on. What has he won, Halaand won a treble, Mbappe won a World Cup and was in the last final.

Former Chelsea and Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard has announced his retirement from football at the age of 32. The former Man Utd Target Eden Hazard retires from football effective from October 2023.

His years at Chelsea were amazing. his low centre of gravity and skill enabled him to get the ball played to him with his back to a defender he’d flick it around the defender and leave him for dead ,a skill done constantly. CHELSEA FC LEGEND

In announcing his retirement, Hazard said he had to listen to his body and he looked forward to enjoying the rest of his life with his loved ones, SportsFila shows his retirement announcement.

“You must listen to yourself and say stop at the right time. After 16 years and more than 700 matches played, I have decided to end my career as a professional footballer. I was able to realise my dream, I have played and had fun on many pitches around the world.

“During my career I was lucky to meet great managers, coaches and teammates – thank you to everyone for these great times, I will miss you all. I also want to thank the clubs I have played for: LOSC, Chelsea and Real Madrid; and thank the RBFA for my Belgian Selection,” Hazard added in his statement.

Madrid terminates Hazard contract: Should United Sign Him?

People have forgotten about his impressive achievements during his time at chelsea and Lille
4th most man of the match in football history,2nd most dribbles completed after messi, won a lot of individual awards and the one of the goats for Belgium.

I’m gutted. He is the most talented player I ever saw in my 10 years watching football (only after Messi) and brought years of joy to beloved Chelsea. Much love and thank you for everything, enjoy your retirement Eden.

Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho Are the Biggest La Liga Flops of the Season

Eden will surely be missed, It was pure pleasure delight to have been a fan All the best to him and family henceforth Love u Hazard.
Sad, his career essentially finished after the 2018-19 season, he was an incredible player at his best such a pity he didn’t have a long time at the top and such a pity he didn’t try to revive his career in the last couple of years.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid 2-0 Champions League Semifinal 2nd Leg 2021

I really enjoyed seeing his dazzling skills, especially when he was at Chelsea. I had looked forward to seeing him do the same at Real Madrid, but unfortunately the number and type of injuries that he suffered, really affected him from showing his potential in La Liga.
I’m very sad to see him

Lucky enough to see him play live. One of the most talented footballers to have ever played the game. I’ll never forget the game when Chelsea trashed Everton and the 1-2’s with Pedro for him to score the 4th goal of the match.

At his peak one of the very best about, and he’s right up there alongside Rooney and Fabregas as one of the best 16-17 year old players I’ve ever seen play the game at full professional level.
