“We HAVE to play in Champions League! WE’RE MAN UTD!’| Man Utd boss eRIK Ten Hag Believes man U will Play Champions league Next Season.
Chris Silvester:
As always Ten Hag is absolutely bang on. Champion’s League football is a must for this club but it’ll also help in bringing extra money in aswell. Without Champion’s League football we’ll struggle to sign anyone as our finances are so completely screwed.
Everything ETH says shows how focused he is on rebuilding excellence throughout the club.
His aims are based on hard work, tactics, discipline & its music to my ears to hear him say this is just a foundation/solid base.
Even though he wants the players concentrating on the next game…he is thinking already 2 seasons ahead.
He’s is doing a fantastic job..its just the start!
Manchester United Champions League history
They have won the European Cup/UEFA Champions League three times, and the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup once each
1 Weghorst is a Burnley player and it looks like they are dominant in the Championship; they will not sell, they will want him back. #2 Eric is right, you play for the next match to be a win. #3 Asked about the money at Newcastle for the future and he talks about how Ajax played in CL with little money. How about Chelsea?
They Lost at the Bridge with all that money spent and talent available, they are now in the bottom 1/2 of the PL table ( no bash on Potter, I like that bloke). Eric is doing the job, a huge difference in strategy from 12 month ago. Top manager. Winning the League Cup, a nice deep run ( who knows what else?) and a top 3 finish in the PL is far and away above what I thought we would do 12 months ago. great job EtH.
The Red Devils may be enjoying a resurgence but, ahead of Sunday’s tricky trip to Newcastle, their results on the road are a major cause for concern
Ten Hag Calls Mason Greenwood
Manchester United may be having their most exciting season in a decade, but their home form is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
Their record on the road is more than a little worrying, particularly against the top sides.
And unless they get a grip on it, they risk losing out on a place in the Premier League top fou
Man U are Unstoppable at home, easily beaten away
It’s a great time to have a United season ticket.
Due to an insane run of home draws in the domestic cups, United have played 27 matches this season at Old Trafford and won 22 of them. They are unbeaten at their ground since early-September.
United’s impressive home results have taken them to Carabao Cup glory and the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
They have also enjoyed hugely satisfying league wins over Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal plus memorable European triumphs over Barcelona and Real Betis.
However, it’s an entirely different story on their travels, where they have won only 11 of 19 games, and suffered some traumatic defeats along the way.
You can see why the mentality of these players (the same ones who were here last year), has completely changed. Not only have we had the likes of casemiro come in and he’s just been a revelation, but Ten Hag demands to win. It’s the “we’re man united and we win everything” mentality. Something we lost we fergie stepped down.
Erik ten Hag’s side will hope they can boost their own hopes of returning to European football’s premier club competition by replicating the Carabao Cup Final defeat they inflicted on their hosts in February as goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford helped them to a 2-0 Wembley win.
we’ll be in the CL next year, but we need to keep improving performance wise, not just results, our last performances have been really poor, particularly we don’t control possession.
