Sergio Kun Aguero has left Man City and joined Barcelona in a two year deal. Barca confirmed the signing of Manchester City forward on a free transfer, hoping to reunite him with his countryman Lionel Messi. As Sergio Aguero Signs For Barcelona:, here are 11 Things Aguero Could Bring To Camp Nou.

  • The Argentine had hopes to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy with Pep Guardiola, but those dreams were shattered by Thomas Tuchel’s resurgent Chelsea in Porto.
  • Signing a contract until 2023 with a 100 million euro release clause, Aguero is the spark to ignite a new era, despite his age of 33 years. Yes, Barcelona sacked Suarez so that they could replace him with Aguero.
  • Renewing a squad with limited funds is never easy, but Aguero’s arrival has a number of pros and cons that will be analysed here.
  • Aguero scored 260 goals in 390 games for City – more than any other player in the club’s history.
  • Aguero sits fourth on the list of all-time Premier League scorers with 184 and has the best minutes-to-goals ratio in the competition’s history.

Kun Aguero will Raise the level of the Barca forward line

Barcelona have been suffering from a lack of goals all season, and Aguero has a proven track record when it comes to scoring.

Although Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele have improved as the season has gone on, their performances this season have shown that neither is a poacher inside the box like the Argentine.

The reality is that when Ronald Koeman wanted to put on a number nine style player, he had to resort to Martin Braithwaite, whose level is far from what is expected in a Barcelona centre-forward.

Perfect Partner for Lionel Messi: Sergio Aguero signs for Barcelona

Messi and Aguero have close personal friends for years, sharing many experiences on and off the field and understand each other just by looking at each other.

Experience in LaLiga Santander

He improves the dressing room

The Argentine is one of those players who makes a close-knit team in the dressing room.

He is well liked by his teammates and it always helps to have people like that in the dressing room.

A Barca style No.9 : Sergio Aguero Signs For Barcelona

Kun is not one of those tank-like strikers that are so fashionable right now, he’s small, focused on dribbling, with quality on the ball and precision in his finishing.

He is one of those strikers who knows how to link play up in small spaces and has recently been working with Guardiola.

The Barcelona style won’t be completely new to him and, if anything, he may be more used to it than some in the current squad.

Experienced

Koeman has complained all season about the lack of experience in his squad, saying that there is a shortage of experienced players who know how to handle complicated games or moments.

Aguero has plenty of experience, he knows what it’s like to play in a World Cup final, to win a Premier League title with a last-minute goal…

Injuries

Injuries have plagued the Argentine in recent seasons, particularly affecting his knee over the past few years.

This season he has missed 17 games due to various issues and last season that number was 24.

Age

The striker turns 33 next week, suggesting that his best is already in the past and that Barcelona will have to managed him through the season in order to have an impact come the end of the season.

Moreover, if Messi stays, he would be paired with the Rosarino, who turns 34 next month.

The danger of him forming a clique with Messi

Barcelona must be careful not to repeat past mistakes as it was not long ago that there were complaints about cliques in the dressing room which disrupted the squad.

These groups made it difficult to manage the squad and were part of why Luis Suarez was moved on from Camp Nou.

Defensive sacrifice: Sergio Aguero Signs For Barcelona

It remains to be seen in what condition Aguero will arrive at Barcelona, given his recent injury record as age catches up with him.

If Barcelona hope to recover the high-pressing suffocation that once made them great, the former Manchester City man may not fit that profile.

His role in the team

Given his age and his tendency to get injured, it is difficult to think of Aguero as an undisputed starter at Barcelona.

Because of his quality, experience and all that he has achieved, it could be a challenge for the coach, whoever that may be, to manage as such profiles enjoy watching games from the bench.

Jude Bellingham the best player in the world right now?

Published

Right now yes because of the impact he has at both Real Madrid and the national team. What I like about him is that he knows there is always room to improve and I’m sure he’s gonna get even better. He’s only 20 years old. He’s learning from another two masters such as Modric and Kroos. If he continues like this the amount that Madrid had to pay for him will be consider a bargain.

No matter how many times it’s brought up, it still boggles that mind that Jude Bellingham is only 20. The latest chapter in the generational talent’s likely-to-be legendary career was dominating a 3-1 victory for England over Italy at Wembley Stadium. Bellingham was sublime throughout, with the result booking the Three Lions’ place at Euro 2024.

Why Jadon Sancho is refusing to apologise to ten Hag

If you actually watch the man (not a boy) and appreciate what he is doing it is great but it’s just the start. There’s always someone who stands out in a team. Jude exudes confidence and has a very level head. Without injuries he may end up being one of the most decorated English players ever. It’s just a shame that Real Madrid got him rather than Liverpool. Haha!

Sancho Pushes Man Utd to Sign Jude Bellingham in Summer

Yeah right now, hes the best player in the world. A 20 year old playing like a 30 year old vet. Creates chances, scores goals, team player, passes well, great awareness, ball skills are on point.. everything.

Toni Kroos mocks Eden Hazard after Jude Bellingham Deal

At the moment Mbappe is the best and if he moves to Real Madrid you will see him establish that no.1 position for, at least, the next few years. I also think Mbappe will take centre stage at Madrid which always helps at these sorts of clubs when it comes to the ballon d’or. Jude’s time will come but not just yet.

Arguments for Guirassy at Stuttgart and Sané at Bayern being the only players more in form than Bellingham at the moment. As for best in world, it is still hard to look past Mbappé.

Jude Bellingham Unveiled As New Real Madrid Player

That’s what English pundits and media like to do. Hype their players who are in form as if they are the next Messi or Ronaldo. No doubt Jude has immense talent, and potential to be an all-time great, but how many young players were called that. He probably is in the best form, but not even 1/3 of the season is over and he is the best player already? Come on. What has he won, Halaand won a treble, Mbappe won a World Cup and was in the last final.

Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho Are the Biggest La Liga Flops of the Season

Eden will surely be missed, It was pure pleasure delight to have been a fan All the best to him and family henceforth Love u Hazard.
Sad, his career essentially finished after the 2018-19 season, he was an incredible player at his best such a pity he didn’t have a long time at the top and such a pity he didn’t try to revive his career in the last couple of years.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid 2-0 Champions League Semifinal 2nd Leg 2021

I really enjoyed seeing his dazzling skills, especially when he was at Chelsea. I had looked forward to seeing him do the same at Real Madrid, but unfortunately the number and type of injuries that he suffered, really affected him from showing his potential in La Liga.
I’m very sad to see him

Lucky enough to see him play live. One of the most talented footballers to have ever played the game. I’ll never forget the game when Chelsea trashed Everton and the 1-2’s with Pedro for him to score the 4th goal of the match.

At his peak one of the very best about, and he’s right up there alongside Rooney and Fabregas as one of the best 16-17 year old players I’ve ever seen play the game at full professional level.
