The 58-year-old Portuguese Special One never gets tired of creating controversies; a few weeks after his appointment as AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has started deploying advanced drone technology to train Roma players.
Jose probably thinks the best method or preparation to win the Serie A is to use cutting-edge technology including unmanned aerial vehicles to boost training sessions.
Master tactician Mourinho introduced drone technology which allows him to show his players their mistakes in real-time. Jose Mourinho’s techniques are often questioned as something from a bygone era of football, but the new Roma boss is very much a new age man with his pre season training revolution.
Often considered as dinosaur, Mourinho’s tactics have been questioned in recent years, with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur both accused of being too defensive and ponderous to achieve success.
His reign over Spurs was brought to a premature end last season, with the London club being the first club he’s managed for more than a year without winning anything, in his entire career.
Despite questions about his methods, which came further to the fore with Luke Shaw’s incredible form at the Euros, Roma have appointed him their new boss.

How does Jose Mourinho Roma drone technology work?
Mourinho has introduced drone technology to training sessions, allowing him to show players their mistakes in real time.
A huge pitch-side monitor has been installed at the club’s training Trigoria complex, while Mourinho requested a personalized Rome drone to hover above the pitch to film his squad.
According to Football Italia, the drone technology allows Mourinho and his staff to get a ‘perfect view of their shape and movements on the field’.
If a player makes a mistake, Mourinho can pause the training session and allow the players to watch the errors ‘within seconds of committing them’.
SportBible says the advanced drone technology will allow Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff to spot the shape of his team in training and pick up on more things they may usually miss.
From spotting things on the drone, the Roma boss will then be able to pinpoint mistakes or errors in shape and instantly rectify them, after showing the players the footage on the giant screen.
Exactly how much of their training sessions the players will want to spend watching their errors is questionable but it should be of help to them.

We’re not entirely sure this new technology will be overly popular with the Roma players, who will surely feel like they’re constantly under the microscope, but it could end up benefiting them in the long run.
As soon as a mistake is made in a training session, Mourinho can now immediately show his players exactly what happened and how to avoid doing the same thing in future.

Is the Special One still a world-class manager?
Well, judging from his last spells as former Man Utd and Tottenham manager, it apears Jose Mourinho is no longer a world-class coach.
After being sacked by Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham in the past six years, Mourinho will be hoping that a return to Italy allows him to re-establish his reputation as one of Europe’s best coaches.

This player is so underrated. Sofyan has been one of the best players on the pitch and I have only watched him play against teams with good midfielders like Spain, France, Inter, Napoli etc.
As a United fan this is my favourite signing. Having said that, he’ll probably come to United and be rubbish as that’s what usually happens.
Man united cant afford the fee but instead want to loan him with a obligation to buy which doesn’t make much sense as he’s in his last year. I assume the fee will be his worth now rather than what he would be worth in a Years times.

If united could go back tin the first of June, I reckon they wouldn’t have bought Mount. they actually would have been better off spending 55m +5 on Hojbjerg and Amrabat for the same price. Going for Kane with the Onana and Hojlund money.
The lad isnt even training with the team, and florentina are waiting , for United to make a serious and decent bid for him / or this request for loan move.

it really is only up to United to screw it up, and not get what they need the most in the transfer window. Sadly, United and the glazers have such a disorganization and have some non- footballing people , in charge of signings that they can let this ideal, signing, in ideal conditions, go.
And miss out on what we need the most. a 30 million pound world class defensive midfielder, which club is in agreemenet to let him go, and that the player has made it clear to the club he wants to go, and the club have been cool about it. Should have sold Lukaku to Saudi instead of loaning him. This summer they could have got 40 million for him + get him off the payroll. With him going to Roma without an obligation to buy, they just save the wages for 1 season but after that are still stuck with him + won’t get 40 million anymore.
