Serie A Bans Christian Eriksen Over Heart Attack and ICD Device
Italian League Serie A has threatened to ban Eriksen from playing for Inter Milan unless he removes his heart starter device (ICD). Christian Eriksen must have his defibrillator removed for Inter return, says Italian technical scientific committee.
Per Goal.com reports, the Danish midfielder suffered cardiac arrest while on international duty at Euro 2020 and may not be cleared for competitive action.
The shocking scenes that unfolded on live television stunned the footballing world as medics battled to save the life of their talismanic midfielder while his distressed team mates looked on.
Captain Simon Kjaer showed great strength to help save Eriksen’s life as keeper Kasper Schmeichel tried to pull his side together, while others wept before the dubious decision to restart the game against Finland was taken.

The Danish playmaker suffered cardiac arrest while on international duty at Euro 2020 on June 12, with only the quick thinking of team-mates and medical professionals saving his life.
The 29-year-old has since been fitted with an ICD to regulate further disturbances in his heartbeat, but Serie A officials say Eriksen would need to prove that he is completely clear of any health concerns in order to resume his professional career at San Siro.

Could Eriksen have his ICD removed?
Eriksen spent six days in hospital after his collapse in Copenhagen. He was fitted with an ICD during that time, which is a device connected to the heart by wires that sends an electrical pulse in order to correct any irregular rhythms.
It appears highly unlikely that medics or the Dane’s family would agree to having that removed.

ICD patient and Ajax star Daley Blind has backed his Eriksen to follow in his footsteps and resume his career despite having a serious heart issue.
Daley Blind has insisted that Christian Eriksen can defy his doubters and play again after suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch.
Eriksen spent six days in hospital after collapsing during Denmark’s opening Euro 2020 fixture against Finland, having been given emergency on-field CPR when his heart stopped beating.
The Inter star has been discharged after being fitted with an ICD heart-starting device, which his former Ajax team-mate Blind is also required to wear.
Inter Milan also said Eriksen could be allowed to continue his career abroad this season.
“Although the current conditions of Eriksen don’t meet the requirements of achieving sporting fitness in Italy, the same could instead be achieved in other countries where the player could resume competitive activity,” the Serie A club said.

This player is so underrated. Sofyan has been one of the best players on the pitch and I have only watched him play against teams with good midfielders like Spain, France, Inter, Napoli etc.
As a United fan this is my favourite signing. Having said that, he’ll probably come to United and be rubbish as that’s what usually happens.
Man united cant afford the fee but instead want to loan him with a obligation to buy which doesn’t make much sense as he’s in his last year. I assume the fee will be his worth now rather than what he would be worth in a Years times.

If united could go back tin the first of June, I reckon they wouldn’t have bought Mount. they actually would have been better off spending 55m +5 on Hojbjerg and Amrabat for the same price. Going for Kane with the Onana and Hojlund money.
The lad isnt even training with the team, and florentina are waiting , for United to make a serious and decent bid for him / or this request for loan move.

it really is only up to United to screw it up, and not get what they need the most in the transfer window. Sadly, United and the glazers have such a disorganization and have some non- footballing people , in charge of signings that they can let this ideal, signing, in ideal conditions, go.

Should have sold Lukaku to Saudi instead of loaning him. This summer they could have got 40 million for him + get him off the payroll. With him going to Roma without an obligation to buy, they just save the wages for 1 season but after that are still stuck with him + won’t get 40 million anymore.
